Three Extortionists Arrested from U.P in a Sensational Extortion Case Solved by The Police Of North East District

With the arrest of three accused namely (1)Mohd. Burahanuddin @ Burahan S/o Mohd. Hasann R/o Village Tewadi, PS- Kakarauli, Mujaffar Nagar, Delhi
(2) Sameer s/o Bundu Hasan R/o gali adjacent to Attaullah Masjid, Mohalla- Sajii ka sarai, Saharanpur, U.P. (3) Billa s/o Mohd. Imran R/o gali adjacent to Attaullah Masjid, Mohalla- Sajii ka sarai, Saharanpur, U.P.  from Saharanpur(U.P), North East District Police has solved a case which involves murder, superstitions and extortion.

INTRODUCTION & TEAM
A team under the close supervision of Sh. Anand Kr. Mishra, ACP/Seelampur, Delhi lead by Insp. C.L Meena (SHO Jafrabad, Delhi) and comprising SI Manoj Kumar, HC Layak Ali, Ct Sandeep, Ct Mukesh, Ct Sonu, Ct Vipin apprehended three extortionist namely (1)Mohd. Burahanuddin @ Burahan S/o Mohd.Hasann R/o Village Tewadi, PS- Kakarauli, Mujaffar Nagar, Delhi (2) Sameer S/o Bundu Hasan R/o Gali adjacent to Attaullah Masjid, Mohalla- Sajii ka sarai, Saharanpur, U.P.(3) Billa S/o Mohd. Imran R/o gali adjacent to Attaullah Masjid, Mohalla- Sajii ka sarai, Saharanpur, U.P.  from Saharanpur(U.P) and arrested them in Case FIR No. 40/16 u/s 387/507/120B/34 IPC of PS Jafrabad, Delhi. The accused persons demanded Rs 50 Lacs as extortion money from one Mehraz Hassan for releasing his son Adi, who had already been kidnapped for ransom & murdered on 13/09/15 and in this regard a case FIR No. 487/15 was registered and is presently under trial. Here the accused persons pretended that Adi is alive and is in their possession and demanded ransom from his father Mehraj Hasan.

INVESTIGATION


On 20.01.2016, above said accused persons had called Mehraz Hassan and demanded Rs 50,00,000/- lacs claiming Adi is in their possession.  They again made the ransom call on 21/01/16 following which complainant, reported to police. In this regard present case FIR No. 40/16, u/s 387/507 IPC was registered. During the course of investigation Police team have sent to Saharanpur(UP).  The team constituted in disguise and first made racce of the area where alleged persons were  present and  thereafter tactfully arrested all the three accused involved in the commission of crime and recovered the mobile phone and sim card allegedly used for ransom call. Prime accused namely Mohd. Burahanuddin @ Burahan, who is by profession  a Mufti (teacher) in a Madrasa, disclosed that complainant had met with him in mid  December 2015 and informed him regarding missing of his child Adi, He believed in  spiritual powers of accused, sought help from him to trace Adi. Mufti gave him solace by giving him one Tabeez and at the same time he conspired to extort the money with the help of his associates. Then on 20/01/16, he along with his associates made a ransom call of 50 lacs from the present complainant and also threatened him not to inform the police.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
