Vigilant PCR Staff Arrested 02 Robbers in Sangam Vihar and Recovered Mobile Phone

On the 08.04.2015 at 10.29 AM, the PCR staff namely I/C HC Jaddu Pawan,
No.649/PCR, Gunman Const. Rajender Kumar, No.2236/PCR and Const. (Dvr.) Govind Sahai, No.9089/PCR deployed on (Kite-66) apprehended 02 robbers namely Annu r/o G-9/15, Sangam Vihar, Delhi and Rahul r/o G-9/15, Sangam Vihar, South East Distt., Delhi. A case FIR No.208/15 u/s 392/411 IPC has been registered at PS Sangam Vihar, on the complaint of Ravi r/o Sangam Vihar.

          On the 08.04.2015, an information was received from Central Police Command Room (CPCR) that some persons have snatched mobile phone of Ravi after beating him and fled away in Maruti car No.UP-16P-6394 near Ratia Marg, Sangam Vihar, Delhi.  The PCR staff deployed on (Kite-66) in Sangam Vihar immediately rushed to attend the call.  On the way the vigilant PCR staff spotted the suspected vehicle rushing towards Shooting Range, Tughalkabad.  They immediately chased the vehicle and forced the occupants to stop after covering a distance of 50 meters.  The local police also reached the spot and the vehicle involved in committing crime was seized. 

          The occupants of the car were questioned and snatched mobile phone was recovered under the seat of Maruti Car. 

The accused were identified as (1) Annu s/o Mehboob r/o G-9/15, Sangam Vihar, Delhi aged 22 years and (2) Rahul s/o Kamal Prasad r/o G-9/15, Sangam Vihar, Delhi aged 18 years. On the complaint of Ravi a case FIR No.208/15 u/s 392/411 IPC has been registered at PS Sangam Vihar.

The PCR staff have displayed their high level of alertness, promptness and high level of professionalism in apprehending the accused.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
