Mitraon Murder Solved

·        4 members of group led by Naveen Khati arrested.

·        Murder of Rohtash, a close relative of Ravinder @ Bholu solved.

·        Murder borne out of rivalry between the two groups.

A Special Cell team has arrested 4 members of the group led by Naveen Khati, presently in jail, in connection with murder of Rohtash, uncle of Ravinder @ Bholu and father of Gopal Pale, all residents of Village Mitraon in Najafgarh area of Delhi.  Those arrested are Sagar r/o Pochanpur, Sunil @ Sabha r/o Mitraon, Vipin Sehrawat r/o Pochanpur and Rohit @ Abhimanyu s/o Kaviraj r/o T-3/1, Uri Enclave, Delhi Cantt, Delhi. 

In the evening of 5^th March, 2015, Rohtash father of Gopal Pale and uncle of Ravinder @ Bholu was on stroll outside his house in Village Mitraon when some youth came there in a bike and a car and fired at him on head and chest and killing him instantaneously.  To make sure that he had died they also stabbed him on his chest.  After committing the dastardly act they escaped immediately.  It was known from the very beginning that the murder was committed out of revenge for the killing of 4 members of Naveen Khati group on the eve of New Year late last year.  It may be recalled that the 4 members were shot dead and taken to Bahadurgarh, Haryana and set on fire in a vehicle.  Special Cell had solved the case by arresting some members of the group.  Haryana Police had later arrested other culprits. 

While Sagar and Sunil are involved in the murder of Rohtash, the weapon of offence has been recovered from Vipin.  At this moment the involvement of Rohit in the murder case has not been established.  The same is under investigation.

Sagar @ Funter:

Sagar @ Funter S/o Lt. Sh. Ranbeer Singh R/o H. No. 249, Vill. Pochampur, Sector- 23, Dwarka, Delhi is associated with the Naveen Khati group. In 2010 he had a quarrel with his neighbour Nitish, for which a case was registered against him at PS Sec. 23, Dwarka. In January 2014, he was arrested in a land grabbing of PS Sadar, Gurgaon, Haryana and remained in judicial custody for 20/25 days. In December 2014 subject was again arrested in a case of 307 IPC of PS Dwarka, Delhi and remained in judicial custody 6/7 days. His associates Vipin, Sonu and Balraj were also arrested in this case. 

Sandeep @ Sambha:

Sandeep @ Sambha belongs to village Mitrau, Delhi. He was first arrested in a case of 307 IPC of PS Baba Hari Dass Nagar, Delhi.  He remained in jail for 17 days and after that he was released on bail. In January 2014, some boys of Gopal Nagar, Delhi came at the plot situated at colony near Village Mitrau, Delhi and started abusing him and asked him to vacate the plot as it belongs to them. The subject fired in open sky from his licenced revolver and managed to flee from the plot. 

Vipin Sehrawat @ Chhote:

Vipin Sehrawat @ Chhote belongs to village Pochanpur. He got associated to Naveen Khati gang in 2013 through one Monu. With the passage of time Monu also introduced him to the other members of the gang namely Anand, Bhupesh, Neeraj, Deepak, Sudhir Kubra and Khotta all resident of village Mitraun and Sagar @ Funter r/o, Vill Pochanpur. In the first week of March 2015, after committing murder of Rohtash r/o village Mitraun, Sagar met Vipin @ Chhote and gave him the pistol used in the murder of Rohtash.

Rohit

Accused Rohit @ Abhimanyu s/o Kaviraj r/o T-3/1, Uri Enclave, Delhi Cantt, Delhi is also associated with Naveen Khati group. He was first arrested in a theft case in the Year 1995 and later graduated to heinous crimes. Rohit is a registered Bad Character of P.S. Delhi Cantt. He is arrested many times in PS Delhi Cantt and other police stations of Delhi but later released on bail by court and each time after his release he again committed heinous crime and later arrested. He was released on bail in different cases on as many as ten occasions but later arrested in another heinous case each time. While in Tihar Jail, he came in contact with the members of Naveen@ Khati gang and he was taken into the folds of Naveen @ Khati gang. Recently accused Rohit was released from bail on 29-09-2014. This time he started regrouping with his associates and was planning for a major heist. Rohit was also looking for an opportunity to eliminate one Manish and Sumit Sharma as he had some altercation with them over a personal matter a few years back and he was still looking for vengeance. On 22-02-2015 accused Rohit alongwith his all-weather friend Surender Singh Bisht s/o, Puran Singh Bisht R/o, Uri Enclave, Delhi Cantt, Delhi fired upon one Mohd Haider Ali who was sitting with Manish in a Toyota car near Brar Square Railway Station. Both managed to escape from the spot and were absconding since then. A case vide FIR no 96/15 u/s 307/34 IPC 25/54/59 Arms Act was registered at PS Naraina in this regard.
