Gang of Robbers Busted

Sleuths of Special Staff of South-West District have nabbed three desperate robbers viz. (1) Dinesh Kumar aged-30 years S/o Lt. Sh. Sunder Pal R/o H No. 173/1, Gali No. 1, Padam Nagar, Sarai Rohilla, Delhi, (2) Abhey Kumar @ Deepak Kumar aged-25 years S/o Rajender Goswami R/o H.No. C-6/25, Gali No. 21, Jai Vihar, Phase-III, Baprola, Delhi and  (3) Pradeep Kumar aged-35 years  S/o Surdershan Kumar R/o H. No. 45 A, Sainik Enclave, Sector-I, Mohan Garden Uttam Nagar, Delhi. Eight cases including  four cases of robbery, one case of snatching & three cases of theft have been solved. Six robbed/ snatched mobile phones have been recovered from their possession.

In order to curb the street crime in the area of South West District, a team of Special Staff comprising of Inspr. Ramesh Kumar, SI Naveen Kumar, ASI Dharambir, ASI Mahabir Singh, ASI Rambeer, HC Shreeom, HC Jaiveer, HC Kuldeep, HC Dheer Singh, Ct. Ashok Kumar, Ct. Ravinder and Ct. Dharmendra under the supervision of ACP/Operation/SWD was constituted. The team was assigned the task to collect the criminal intelligence and arrest the wanted criminals operating in the area. Secret informers were deployed, criminal intelligence was collected, modus operandi of accused analyzed etc. On 30.03.2015, an information about a desperate gang involved in several cases of robbery & snatching was received from reliable sources at Special Staff/SWD. The same was developed and verified. On 30.03.2015 a trap was laid near DPS Matiala and nabbed the three accused persons.

Trio were put under sustained interrogation, who spilled the beans that they ply cabs and target the passengers who travel  in their cabs. Trio confessed their involvement in several cases of robbery and snatching. Following recoveries have been effected on their instance:-

NAME AND PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS:-       

1.   Dinesh Kumar, aged 30 years S/o Lt. Sh. Sunder Pal R/o H No. 173/1, Gali No. 1, Padam Nagar, Sarai Rohilla, Delhi has studied upto 6^th class. He is married and has two children.

2.   Abhey Kumar @ Deepak Kumar ,aged 25 years S/o Rajender Goswami R/o H.No. C-6/25, Gali No. 21, Jai Vihar, Phase-III, Baprola, Delhi has studied upto 3^rd class and married.  

Pradeep Kumar, aged 35 years S/o Surdershan Kumar R/o H. No. 45 A, Sainik Enclave, Sector-I, Mohan Garden Uttam Nagar, Delhi has studied upto 5^th class. He is married and has one child.
