15 Days Joint Yoga Shivir Held at New Police Lines, KINGSWAY CAMP, DELHI FOR POLICE PERSONNEL , THEIR FAMILIES AND GENERAL PUBLIC.

A 15 days Yoga and Pranayam workshop ( shivir) from 09.03.2015 to 20.03.2015 was organized for the welfare  of Police Jawan and families located at New Police Lines, Kingsway Camp, Delhi.  Around 100 police personnel and family members with general public participated in the “Shivir”.  Shri Ombir Singh, IPS, DCP/1st Bn. DAP, shown keen interest in organizing and attending the workshop.
            The timings were from 03.00 pm to 5.30 p.m., which were suitable to the maximum habitants.   Shri Pushpender Kumar, posted as ASI in 1st Bn. DAP, the Yoga Teacher has extra ordinary knowledge about Yoga Postures.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi. Crime Branch has arrested two dreaded and desperate criminals namely (1) Gyanender @ Gadgu (29 yrs) s/o Mahender r/o Village Mandhothi, Distt. Jhajjar, Haryana, who is wanted in two sensational cases of murder of Haryana including one that of a brutal massacre, one case of attempt to murder of Badli, Delhi and 3 cases of extortion in Delhi & Haryana and (2) Rajeev Dahiya @ Raju (39 yrs) s/o Sukhbir Singh r/o R-95, Gali No. 15 A, Sawtanter Nagar, Narela, Delhi (permanent address-Village Nahari, Distt. Sonepat, Haryana), who is an absent BC of PS Narela, a bail jumper, a declared proclaimed offender in 2 murder cases and one case of Arms Act .
