Sensational Murder Case of Prasad Nagar Solved within Hours

With the arrest of Kapil, aged about 23 years r/o Anand Parvat, Delhi, Central District police has solved a sensational murder case of one Rajkumar @ Nata, which was committed on 07-09-2015 in the area of PS Prasad Nagar, Central District, Delhi.

            The weapon i.e. buttondar knife used in the commission of crime and blood stained clothes of the accused have been recovered.

            On 07.09.15 at about 07:00 AM, a PCR call was received at P.S. Prasad Nagar that a dead body of a male is lying in Gali  No-2 Krishna Nagar, Dev Nagar in area of PS Prasad Nagar, Delhi. Immediately, Insp. Ramesh Lamba, SHO/Prasad Nagar, Insp B.K. Singh ATO along with SI Abhishek reached the spot and found that an unknown dead body of a male aged about 20-25 years was lying in a pool of blood in Gali No-2, Krishna Nagar, Dev Nagar, Prasad Nagar, Delhi.  There were injury marks on abdomen, chest and back side of waist. Immediately, a case vide FIR No 671/15, u/s 302 IPC & 25 Arms Act was registered at PS Prasad Nagar and the investigation was taken up.

A team comprising of Insp. Ramesh Lamba SHO Parsad Nagar, Insp. B K Singh ATO Prasad Nagar, SI Abhishek, Ct Rahul and Ct Sandeep was constituted under the close supervision of Sh Abhishek Dhania, ACP Karol Bagh.

The team started a massive operation to identity the dead body. During investigation, the profile and appearance of the deceased indicated that he may be a budding criminal/ruffian of PS Prasad Nagar or neighbouring Police Station. After an exhaustive exercise with the help of dissemination of information (Including sharing of photo of the deceased among the staff of district on Whatsapp groups), the deceased was identified as Raj kumar @ Nata, a criminal of Central District area r/o Anand Parvat, Delhi.

During the course of investigation, it was revealed that the victim Rajkumar @ Nata r/o Anand Parvat was found to be involved in four cases of Robbery, theft etc. of P.S. Anand Parvat, P.S. Kamla Market, P.S. Shastri Park Metro Station, Delhi.  It was also revealed that the deceased was having enmity with one Kapil also resident of Anand Parvat. This information was further developed and it was revealed that   Kapil was seen last with the deceased, the previous night.  Hence, a massive hunt was started to trace Kapil. On the basis of secret information and sources, Kapil was apprehended by the police team from Anand Parvat area.

 On sustained interrogation, accused Kapil r/o Anand Parvat disclosed that he was having enmity with the deceased Raj Kumar @ Nata r/o Punjabi Basti, Anand Parbat.  Accused disclosed that earlier both of them were friends and have committed many crimes in association with each other. But two months back, quarrel started between him and Raj Kumar on the issue of distribution of booty looted by them.  After this quarrel, accused became apprehensive that Rajkumar would eliminate him. On this, he hatched a conspiracy to eliminate Raj kumar before he can kill him.  On the fateful night, he contacted Raj Kumar and both of them came to Gandhi Maidan in Anand Parvat area where both of them had liquor.  Once Raj Kumar was fully drunk, Kapil took him on his scooty on the pretext of dropping him home. On the way, when they reached near Gali No. 2, Krishna Nagar, Prasad Nagar, Delhi, Kapil told Raj Kumar that he wanted to smoke.  When he was smoking, Raj Kumar started to urinate.  On this, Kapil saw the desired opportunity and took out the knife and stabbed Raj Kumar on the back side.  As Raj Kumar turned back to protect himself, Kapil promptly stabbed multiple times on his abdomen and chest.  On this, Raj Kumar fell down on the road and started bleeding profusely and died.  After that Kapil fled from the spot.

Kapil r/o Anand Parvat, 23 years old, educated up to primary level and unemployed. He is married. His father has died and his mother works as domestic help in houses. He has previously been involved in nine cases of Robbery, theft, attempt to murder etc. of P.S. Shastri Park Metro Station, P.S. Anand Parvat, P.S. Ranjit Nagar, P.S. Kamla Market, P.S. DBG Road, P.S. Maya Puri, P.S. Hari Nagar and P.S. Sarai Rohilla, Delhi.
