Desperate Robber of Gal Ghotu Gang Arrested with Deadly Weapon

With the arrest of four persons, a gang of robbers has been busted by the staff of P.S. Adarsh Nagar, North-West District. The robbers have been identified as Sunny (26 years) Sunit @ Lala (27 years) Gautam (22 Years) and Manoj (19 years). They all had been found involved in many cases of robbery.

                   In the wake of recent robberies incidents reported in the jurisdiction of PS Adarsh Nagar,   teams under the supervision of Inspr. Sanjay Kumar SHO/Adarsh Nagar and overall supervision of ACP Model Town were formed. Crime pattern was analyzed and vulnerable spots were identified. Patrolling on foot as well as motorcycles was intensified on venerable stretches including 100 No. stand to Panchwati. The strategy yielded result in catching robbers red-handed.

                   Brief facts of the case are that on the intervening night of 28/29.09.15  the complainant  Phool Babu R/o Ravi Das Colony, Delhi and Rahul R/o Jahangir Puri, Delhi were robbed by four robbers of their purse, mobile phone and cash. The victims chased the robbers and raised alarm. Acting on their call, the police patrolling staff Ct. Manoj, Ct. Mohit and Ct. Rakesh chased and overpowered the robbers while they were trying to escape from the area by waving knife. They were later identified as Sanni (aged 26 years), Sunit @ Lala (aged 27 years), Gautam (aged 22 years) and Manoj (aged 19 years). During search two Mobile Phones, Purse, cash and one Knife recovered from their possession. The staff immediately informed the police station for re-enforcement of staff. Accordingly a case vide FIR No. 614/15 u/s 392/397/34 IPC was registered in PS Adarsh Nagar.

INVESTIGATION AND INTERROGATION

                   During sustained interrogation, accused persons as Sunny (26 years) Sunit @ Lala (27 years) Gautam (22 Years) and Manoj (19 years) admitted their involvement in other cases.

MODUS OPERANDI OF ROBBERS

The Gal Ghotu gang has a unique modus operandi to rob the victim. One of the member of gang used to catch hold the victim from back and another close eyes of the victim while the rest of member rob the victim of his articles i.e cash, mobile phone and purses at the point of knife. The accused also dare to assault on police team. They used to target victim in morning time.

3.   Gautam S/O Surender R/o F 19 Mahendra park Delhi Age 22 Yrs is 9th pass working as labour
4.   Manoj , Age 19 Yrs is 11th pass working as munsi in subji mandi
                   The involvement of gang is being verified by sharing the details with concerned police stations.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
