On 29.09.2015 at about 01:35 PM PCR staff
(Commander-66) saved the life of victim aged 22 years who attempted to commit
suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in the area of PS-Jahangir Puri,
North-West Distt., Delhi.
Sequence of the incident
On dated 29.09.15 at about 01:35 PM, a PCR call
was received that one person aged 22 years has attempted to commit suicide by
hanging himself from ceiling fan in house at E-Block, Jahangir Puri, Delhi.
Immediately the PCR staff of C-66 consisting of I/C ASI Dharambir, No. 5746/D, Ct. (Gunman) Monik Sathe, No. 2655/PCR
and HC (Dvr.) Narender, No. 3870/PCR rushed to the spot. Where they found one
person aged 22 years was lying on the floor of the house in unconscious
condition. From the local enquiry it was revealed that he tried to commit
suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan. The neighbors broke the gate and
removed him from ceiling fan & kept him on the floor. The PCR staff
immediately pressed the chest of the victim by giving CPR (Cardiopulmonary
Resuscitation) for 6 minutes. By the grace of God, the victim started
responding. The PCR staff immediately took him in van and got admitted in Babu
Jag Jeevan Ram Hospital, Jahangir Puri where he is stable.
