Fake Visa Racket Busted. Four Persons Including Two Agents Nabbed
With the
arrest of four persons viz 1)Manoj Sharma S/o
Lal Bihari Sharma, 2) Ranglal Sharma S/o Vasant Sharma, 3) Jitender Sharma S/o
Banwari Sharma, &4) Asgar khan 30
s/o Afrid khan, IGI Airport Unit
has worked out two cases of fake VISA in no time. Rs. 55000/- and four fake VISA have been recovered from the
possession of above accused persons.
Gist of Case:
On 23/09/2015, Manoj Sharma S/o Lal Bihari
Sharma R/o Vill. & PO Hetimpur Siwan, Bihar and Asgar khan s/o Afrid khan
r/o Village Ashiana P.O Mkhana, P.S falta South, 24 Pargana West Bengal approached
the immigration counter for travelling from Delhi to Dubai by Air India flight.
They presented their passports and work VISAs before the immigration officer
who checked the VISAs which were found fake. Consequently, local police was
informed. Upon this, two separate cases
vide FIR No. 419/2015 and 420/2015 have been registered under relevant sections
of law and investigations have been taken up in right earnest.
Operation:
After registration of above cases, police
swung into action. A dedicated team comprising of Sh. Satish Malik, SHO/IGI
Airport , SI Tribhuwan Negi and SI Mukesh Balyan was constituted under the
supervision of Sh. Raj Kumar, ACP/IGI Airport and overall supervision and
guidance of the undersigned. Accused Manoj Sharma and Asgar khan were subjected
to sustained interrogated, who spilled the beans that a considerable amount has
been paid to the agents viz. Rang Lal Sharma and Jitender Sharma for these fake
VISAs . On the basis of leads provided
by the accused and intelligence, raids were conducted at several hideouts. Consistent
efforts bore fruits and the agents namely Ranglal Sharma and Jitender Sharma
involved in this fake VISA racket were nabbed.
Interrogation and modus operandi :
Initially, the duo agents beat around the
bush and tried to mislead the police but they were confronted with hard facts
garnered during investigation. Finally they plead guilt and confessed to be
involved in this racked. During interrogation, it has been transpired that initially
work VISAs were fetched by the agents from a UEA based company. Thereafter PoE
was required from the Ministry of labour as both the paxs were not possessing
requisite qualification. In order to evade this requirement, agents prepared
tourist VISAs by copying the Work VISAs. On Tourist VISAs, paxs were to be sent out of India and thereafter
work VISAs were to be used for job/employment in abroad.
Cash Rs. 55,000/- taken in lieu of fake
VISA has also been recovered from the accused persons. All out efforts are
being made to establish the involvement of other persons who have been sent
abroad by adopting this modus operandi by these agents. Role of the company which
provided work VISA is also being probed.
Sincere efforts are being made to recover the apparatus used in
preparing these fake VISAs.

1)Manoj
Sharma, aged 27yrs S/o Lal Bihari Sharma R/o Vill. & PO
Hetimpur Siwan, Bihar is a pax. He is a carpenter by occupation and has studied
upto 8th class.
2)Asgar
khan, aged 30 s/o Afrid khan r/o Village Ashiana P.O
Mkhana, P.S falta South, 24 Pargana West Bengal is a pax and an illiterate.
3)Ranglal
Sharma, aged 50yrs S/o Vasant Sharma R/o F-56, Harsh Vihar, Tank Road, Jaitpur,
Badarpur, Delhi is an Agent. He
originally hails from Bihar and has rental accommodation in Delhi.
4)Jitender
Sharma,aged 39yrs S/o Banwari Sharma R/o D-47/14, Mohan Baba Nagar, Badarpur,
Delhi is an Agent. He is English tutor and is married. He originally hails from Bihar.
