PCR Staff Apprehended Two Snatchers from Prashant Vihar

On 07/08.09.2015 at about 10:43 PM PCR staff (Libra-40) apprehended two snatchers namely Akash S/o Puran Singh R/o Sec-23, Rohini near Budh Vihar, Delhi age 20 years and Sunil Kumar S/o Shiv Shankar R/o H.No. 128, Dairy Kripa Mandir, Budh Vihar-II, Delhi age 22 years.and recovered a mobile phone from their possession in the area of PS Prashant Vihar, Outer Distt.  A case FIR No. 1104/15 U/S 394/397/34 IPC dated 08.09.2015  has been registered at PS Prashant Vihar, Outer Distt., Delhi.

On 07/08.09.15 at about 10:43 PM the PCR staff namely I/C HC  Jogender, No. 1394/PCR, Ct. (Gunman) Anand Swaroop, No. 7297/PCR & Ct. (Dvr.) Amandeep, No. 9320/PCR  were on patrolling duty at Libra-40. When they reached near Rithala Metro Station Red Light, one person namely Deepak (Complainant) informed them that three person have snatched his mobile at the point of knife near Crown Plaza and ran away towards Rithala Metro Station. The PCR staff took the complainant in their vehicle and launched the search operation. The PCR staff apprehended the two accused with the help of public and recovered mobile phone from their possession. But their associate managed to escape. The PCR staff informed to Central Police Control Room in this regard and thus handed over both the accused to the local police for necessary action.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
