With the arrest of two persons (1) Pedro Maria Tobar Garcia S/o Bram Kayzer R/o Nassau Kade 3831, 1054AD, Amsterdam, Netherland and (2) Suny Khanna S/o Ashok Khanna R/o B-4/405, Krishna Apartment Garden, Near Shipra Mall, Indrampuram, Ghaziabad, UP, police of East Distt. has busted an international racket of drug peddlers and recovered 1200 LSD stamps worth approximately Rs. 8 Crore in international market.
Through reliable sources, SI Sumit Malik got some secret information about a drug peddler Pedro Maria Tobar Garcia of Netherland, who was planning to supply drugs in Delhi. He came to Delhi from Jaipur on 06.10.2014 and contacted Sunny Khanna. Their activities were kept under watch. On 08.12.2014, we came to know that Pedro Maria Tobar Garcia and Suny Khanna would come near Som Nath Marg, Anand Vihar to supply the drugs. Acting on tip off, a team of officers of the AATS/East District, Delhi led by Inspr. Sanjeev Pahwa consisting of SI Sumit Malik, HC Dharmender, HC Rothash Kumar, HC Ram Charan and Ct. Rajeev Kumar under the supervision of ACP/OPS Sh. Y.K.Tyagi arrested Pedro Maria Tobar Garcia and Sunny Khanna from Near Yamuna Krida Bus Stand, Major Somnath Sharma Road, Anand Vihar, Delhi. 1000 Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD Stamp Papers) and 200 Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD Stamp Papers) were recovered from Pedro Maria Tobar Garcia and Sunny Khanna respectively. Pedro Maria Tobar Garcia used to smuggle the drugs from Netherland. The drugs were then supplied for the rave parties to the Indian drug peddlers. The drug is in high demand in India. He smuggled the ‘Charas’ from India to European countries. He has network in Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi and Mumbai.
The value of the recovered LSD drugs in the international market is approximately Rs. 08 crore. This is the 2nd recovery of LSD stamp papers in the history of Delhi Police and Narcotics Control Bureau and may be the highest recovery in India.
1. Pedro Maria Tobar Garcia S/o Bram Kayzer R/o Nassau Kade 3831, 1054AD, Amsterdam, Netherland, Age 37 years. He is a national of Netherland. He runs artificial jewellery business in Holland. He first came to India 5/6 years ago in connection with his business. He started business of artificial jewellery at Jaipur, Rajasthan with the help of Indian friends and started export of artificial jewellery to Netherland and other Europeans countries. He exchanged some LSD paper stamps for Charas and Indian country in Jaipur, Rajasthan as ‘Barter’ system. Initially he was a user of LSD drug and later become drug peddler.
2. Sunny Khanna S/o Ashok Khanna R/o B-4/405, Krishna Apartment Garden, Near Shipra Mall, Indrampuram, Ghaziabad, UP, Age 38. He completed his schooling from Mussoorie, Uttrakhand and graduation from Delhi University. He worked as Assistant Sales Manager in a private company. He got employment in Dubai from 2003 to 2005. Later he used to organize rave parties in different parts of the country. He provided drugs to foreign tourists.
