TWO AUTO LIFTERS ARRESTED ALONGWITH STOLEN MERCEDEZ BENZ CAR

The Staff of AATS, South West District has arrested following person and recovered 01 stolen Mercedez Benz Car.
Ø   Anil Anand s/o Shri K. K. Anand r/o H.No.1821, Sector-23A, Gurgaon, Haryana, age-54 years.
Ø   Sahil Anand s/o Shri Anil Anand r/o H.No.1821, Sector-23A, Gurgaon,   Haryana, age-23 years.
BRIEF:-
                   On 07-05-16, complainant Deepak Kumar r/o 297, Pocket-I, Sec-5, DDA Flats, Dwarka, New Delhi, Sales Manager of T & T Motors Ltd., Rajouri Garden, Delhi reported that on 06-05-16, a customer along with two others persons met him to purchase a Mercedez Benz car No. DL-10-NTC-0086 and took the key on the pretext of test drive. They fled away from the spot and did not return the car. A case vides E-FIR No.013418/16, u/s-379 IPC was registered and investigation was taken up.
                   On 20.06.16, secret information was received that both the accused person will pass from Shiv Mandir, Village- Carterpuri, Major Sushil Aima Marg, Gurgaon with above said stolen vehicle. A trap was laid down at that place and both were apprehended with stolen Mercedes Benz car having fake number plate on the instance of the secret informer.

                Further investigation is in progress and efforts are being made to find out the other involvements of the accused persons.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
