DRUG TRAFFICKER INDULGED IN SALE AND PURCHASE OF DRUGS IN DELHI ARRESTED

Crime Branch has apprehended a drug trafficker Achhan Khan (42 yrs) s/o Abdul Rub r/o Jhuggi No.51, Phatak No.7, Indira Colony, Shalimar Bagh, who is involved in supplying of drugs in Delhi, and recovered 80 kg of ganja from his possession. 
          On 22.06.2016, a secret information was received in the office of Central Range, Crime Branch that one Achhan Khan r/o Indira Colony, Shalimar Bagh, Delhi, who is indulged in sale and supply of ganja in Delhi, procures ganja from Upender r/o Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh. Upender sends the consignment of ganja through trains and Achhan receives the said consignment in Delhi to sell it further. The information further entailed that Achhan would be receiving the consignment of ganja and bring it to Indira Colony from Madarsa road near Indira Gandhi Technical University for Women, Kashmere Gate, Delhi between 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM and if a raid is conducted, Achhan could be caught red handed.
          On the basis of this information, a team of Central Range led by ACP Ranbir Singh consisting of Insp. Kuldeep Singh, SI Sumit Malik, ASI Mahipal, HCs Rajbir, Naresh, Cts Pardeep and Sudhir was constituted under the supervision of DCP Bhisham Singh to nab them. Achhan Khan was apprehended from foot path, near main gate of Madarsa Road, near Indira Gandhi Technical University for Women, Kashmere Gate, Delhi. He was found in possession of 80 kg ganja. He was arrested vide case FIR No.105/16 dated 22.06.2016 u/s 20 NDPS Act, PS Crime Branch, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi.
          During interrogation, he revealed that he was born in village Simiraava, District Sant Kabir Nagar, Gorakhpur, UP in 1973. He has 4 brothers and 7 sisters. His father was a farmer. He alongwith his elder brother Lallan went to Bombay in 1984 and they started learning carpenter work, In 1988, they shifted to Delhi and started residing in Mukund Pur village. After 2-3 years they shifted to Shalimar Bagh area.

          Achhan married to Nikhat Jahan. He has 3 daughters and 2 sons. In 1998, he and his brother started selling ganja. He was arrested first time in 2002 in NDPS case from PS Shalimar Bagh. Again in 2008, he was arrested by Narcotics Cell. He is an active BC of PS Shalimar Bagh and previously having 8 criminal cases against him including 5 cases of NDPS Act and 3 cases of Arms Act.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
