GANG OF CHEATS INDULGING IN EXCHANGE OF FOREIGN CURRENCY NOTES BUSTED: THREE ACCUSED ARRESTED

With the arrest of following three cheats, the crack team of Sub-Division Seemapuri has busted a gang of cheats thereby solving a cheating case of PS Seemapuri, North-East District:-

1.   Lahul S/o Billal R/o Eidhah Wali Road Garima Garden Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, (UP) age 22 Yrs.
2.   Fatima W/o Jahangir Alam R/o Eidhah Wali Road Garima Garden Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, (UP) age 30 Yrs.
3.   Yamin @ Mamu R/o Malka Ganj, Delhi age 40 Yrs.

INCIDENT:

                   A complaint was received from one Mirza Beg that one Salim came to him and enticed him to provide dollars at very cheap rate.  On 13.06.2016, Salim took him to one Mamu of Malkaganj.  Thereafter, they went to Seemapuri, where Mamu called a boy namely Rohit on mobile and Rohit further called a lady.   The lady came with a mentally challenged boy and showed dollars in a bag to him.   The complainant gave them Rs 2,00,000/- but instead of dollars the lady gave him some packets. The lady along with two boys left the place. On checking the complainant found that there were no dollars instead it was having some packets of folded papers, and was cheated of Rs. 2 lacs by the above said persons by enticing him to give dollars at very cheap rate in exchange of money, a case FIR No. 624/16 dated 1706.2016 u/s 420/34 IPC, PS Seemapuri, Delhi was registered in this regard.

                   After registration of the case, a team of SI Gopal Singh, SI Gaurav, HC Gavender, Ct. Babar, Ct. Himanshu, W/Ct. Rekha Sharma, DHG/Ct. Amit, was constituted in the supervision of Sh. Hareshwar Swami, ACP/Seemapuri which conducted vigorous search for identification of accused during which three accused persons were apprehended with US Dollars.

INTERROGATION:       
         
                   On interrogation, they disclosed having cheated many such persons by showing dollars in different parts of Delhi and UP.

RECOVERY:

i)             10 notes of 20 Dollars.

ii)           3 notes of 1 Dollar

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. Crime Branch has arrested two dreaded and desperate criminals namely (1) Gyanender @ Gadgu (29 yrs) s/o Mahender r/o Village Mandhothi, Distt. Jhajjar, Haryana, who is wanted in two sensational cases of murder of Haryana including one that of a brutal massacre, one case of attempt to murder of Badli, Delhi and 3 cases of extortion in Delhi & Haryana and (2) Rajeev Dahiya @ Raju (39 yrs) s/o Sukhbir Singh r/o R-95, Gali No. 15 A, Sawtanter Nagar, Narela, Delhi (permanent address-Village Nahari, Distt.
