REWARDED CRIMINAL (P.O.) KHUSHIRAM @ VISHAL @ GOLU ARRESTED FROM PATHANKOT, PUNJAB

The Crime Branch has arrested an absconding rewarded criminal Khushiram @ Vishal @ Golu (aged 26 years) s/o Late Kalicharan r/o Jhuggi No. 482, Soniya Gandhi Camp, Smalkha, Kapashera Delhi from Pathankot, Punjab who is wanted in an attempt to murder case of PS Kapashera and avoiding his arrest since July, 2014. A cash reward of Rs. 25,000/- was also declared by CP/Delhi on his arrest.      
INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION: -
          On 08.06.2016, a secret information was received by HC Randhawa about the hideouts of a fugitive rewarded criminal Khushiram @ Vijay @ Golu in Sunder Nagar area of Pathankot, Punjab who is wanted in an attempt to murder case of PS Kapashera registered vide FIR No. 312/14 dated 12.07.2014 u/s 307/323 IPC and a cash reward of Rs. 25,000/- was declared on his arrest. This information was further developed and a team of Crime Branch led by ACP Raman Lamba and consisting of Insp. Yashpal Singh, ASI Yudhir, HCs Randhawa, Govind, Mahesh Tyagi and Cts. Dharmender, Rajeev Sahrawat and Rahul Kumar was constituted under close supervision of DCP Bhisham Singh to nab the criminal. The team immediately rushed to Pathankot. In the intervening night of 8/9.06.2016, the absconding accused was successfully traced and apprehended from a house in Sunder Nagar Colony of Pathankot. Subsequently, he was arrested u/s 41.1 CrPC.
INTERROGATION & DISCLOSURE: -
          Interrogation of the accused revealed that he belongs to a poor family and hails from Village Gola Gorakhnath, District Jhansi and has studied upto primary level. Later on, his family shifted to Delhi and started residing in Gokalpuri area and then in Smalkha area, where he fell in bad company and become a drug addict. He started his criminal career with petty offences like thefts etc. and was arrested first time in 2010. Thereafter, in 2012, he was again arrested in a case of mobile theft.
On 11.07.2016, accused stabbed one Ravi s/o Jagdish to take revenge as he suspected Ravi passed information to police about his criminal activities. Complainant was also assaulted by the accused after the incident accused Khushiram @ Vishal @ Sonu fled away. On this, a case of attempt to murder was registered against him and a cash reward of Rs. 25,000/- was declared by CP/Delhi on his arrest as he could not be arrested despite best efforts.                             

          Concerned police station has been informed for taking further legal action against the accused persons.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. Crime Branch has arrested two dreaded and desperate criminals namely (1) Gyanender @ Gadgu (29 yrs) s/o Mahender r/o Village Mandhothi, Distt.
