2 DESPERATE INTERSTATE ROBBERS-CUM-SNATCHERS-CUM-AUTOLIFTERS (INCLUDING ONE BC) ARRESTED

In yet another major breakthrough, Crime Branch has successfully arrested 2 robbers-cum-snatchers-cum-autolifters namely Nutan Kumar (29 yrs) s/o Ramdhan Singh r/o H.No.32, Samrat Gali, Khajoori Khas, Delhi and Hariom @ Amit @ Vicky (32 yrs) s/o Prem Raj r/o D-2/309-310, Nand Nagri, Delhi, a BC of PS Nand Nagri.
INFORMATION, TEAM AND OPERATION:-
On 12.06.2016, case FIR No.186 u/s 392/34 IPC was registered at PS Mansarovar Park, Delhi on the complaint of Sh. Pankaj Kumar s/o Vijay Kumar r/o E-6/173, Nand Nagri, Delhi. He reported that he alongwith his senior incharge Mr. Yatish works at Jawahar Nagar liquor shop. They were going home from the shop on his bike and at about 10.15 PM, when they reached Nathu Colony flyover in front of Bajaj Eye Hospital, 2 persons came on white Apache bike and forcibly stopped them by saying that they had caused an accident on the way. Immediately the pillion rider aimed a pistol at him and robbed cash of Rs.2700/- and Rs.17000/- from both of them respectively. He did not note down the number of the Apache bike. Accordingly, the above noted case was registered.

TEAM:-
Keeping in view the sudden increase in the cases of robberies and snatchings in the area by use of fake number plates motorcycles, a dedicated team led by ACP H.M. Bakshi, consisting of Inspr Pawan Kumar, ASIs Jagdish, Murlidhar, HCs Dinesh, Pramod, Amit, Mahesh, Kushal Pal, Isha Khan, Cts Karambir, Shyamlal, Om Prakash, Babu Ram, Javed and Tehzeeb Haider was constituted under the close supervision of DCP Dr. Rajeev Sharma to detect and arrest the criminals.
On 18.06.2016, a specific information was received by Cts Babu Ram, Shyamlal, Karambir and Om Prakash that the accused persons namely Nutan Kumar and Hariom @ Amit involved in the case, would come to meet someone near Mayo International School, Patparganj area, Delhi. Immediately, the team swung into action and accused persons Nutan Kumar and Hariom @ Amit @ Vicky were apprehended with a stolen grey TVS Apache bike with fake number plates of UP15AE-0044. They were also having in their possession loaded country made weapons as .32 Semi automatic pistol alongwith 6 rounds and .315 desi katta alongwith 03 rounds, respectively.
INTERROGATION:- 
During sustained interrogation, the accused persons disclosed that they are part of a gang, consisting of active criminals of Delhi and UP, namely Teepu Sultan, Gagan Pandit (both presently lodged in UP jails at Muzaffarnagar and Rampur), Ali Mehndi, Chand, Vinay (carjacker & brother of accused Nutan Kumar and presently lodged in Tihar Jail), Haji, Durgesh @ Durga @ Sumit, Sonu @ Gorilla etc. Accused persons Nutan Kumar and Hariom @ Amit @ Vicky used to rob/steal two-wheelers/four-wheelers and after using fake number plates on them, commit crimes. Nutan Kumar and Hariom @ Amit @ Vicky, both are also expert in robbery/snatching cash/gold chains from public persons in street by chasing them and after showing them pistols/katta. They never hesitate to use arms in case of resistance.
Accused Nutan Kumar and Hariom @ Amit @ Vicky were arrested with a stolen grey TVS Apache bike (stolen on 26.05.2016 from PS Loni Border, Ghaziabad) with fake number plate. They were found with loaded country made weapons i.e. pistol having 6 cartridges and loaded country made desi katta alongwith 3 cartridges respectively. Case FIR No.100 dt. 18.02.16 u/s 411/482 IPC & 25/54/59 Arms Act PS Crime Branch against Nutan Kumar and case FIR No.101 dt. 18.02.16 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act PS Crime Branch against Hariom @ Amit @ Vicky were registered. Further, on detailed and sustained interrogation, they were also found involved in 8 other cases of robbery/snatching/MV theft of North-East/East Distt. of Delhi and Ghaziabad (UP).

CASES WORKED OUT:-
With the arrest of accused persons, the following cases of North-East/East Distt of Delhi and Ghaziabad (UP) have been worked out.
1.            Case FIR No. 186/16 U/s 392/34 IPC PS Mansarovar Park, Delhi.
2.            Case FIR No. 582/16 U/s 392/34 IPC PS Seemapuri, Delhi.
3.            Case FIR No. 388/16 U/s 392/34 IPC PS Bhajanpura, Delhi.
4.            Case FIR No. 248/16 U/s 393/34 IPC PS Vivek Vihar, Delhi.
5.            Case FIR No. 286/16 U/s 356/379/34 IPC PS Jyoti Nagar, Delhi.
6.            Case FIR No. 409/16 U/s 379 IPC PS Loni Border, Ghaziabad (UP).
7.            Case FIR No. 424/16 U/s 379 IPC PS Tronica City, Ghaziabad (UP).
8.            Case FIR No. 461/16 U/s 379 IPC PS Loni Border, Ghaziabad (UP).
9.            Case FIR No. 100 u/s 411/482 IPC & 25/54/59 Arms Act PS Crime Branch.
10.         Case FIR No. 101 dt. 18.02.16 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act PS Crime Branch.
Further investigation is in progress.
PROFILE:-
1.            Accused Nutan Kumar is a graduate. He worked in DTC as a contract driver. He is unemployed and is involved in 2 cases (accident and MV theft). His younger brother Vinay Kumar is in Tihar jail in a carjacking case of PS Khajoori Khas vide FIR No. 264/16 dt. 12.03.2016.

2.            Accused Hariom @ Amit @ Vicky is educated upto 9th standard. He is working as a labourer and is a BC of PS Nand Nagri with 21 cases of theft, Arms Act, NDPS etc.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. Crime Branch has arrested two dreaded and desperate criminals namely (1) Gyanender @ Gadgu (29 yrs) s/o Mahender r/o Village Mandhothi, Distt. Jhajjar, Haryana, who is wanted in two sensational cases of murder of Haryana including one that of a brutal massacre, one case of attempt to murder of Badli, Delhi and 3 cases of extortion in Delhi & Haryana and (2) Rajeev Dahiya @ Raju (39 yrs) s/o Sukhbir Singh r/o R-95, Gali No. 15 A, Sawtanter Nagar, Narela, Delhi (permanent address-Village Nahari, Distt.
