 DESPERATE GANG LEADER OF ROBBERS, PAWAN @ PAPPU @ MAMA, WANTED IN 8 CASES OF GUNPOINT ROBBERIES ARRESTED.

Crime Branch has arrested a desperate robber Pawan @ Pappu @ Mama (32 years) s/o Satya Prakash r/o H. No. 1/3673, Gali No. 2, Ram Nagar, Shahdara, Delhi who has been found involved in a series of gunpoint robberies all over Delhi, out of which 8 cases were found registered in different police stations of North-East, West and Outer Districts of Delhi. He is the gang leader and his 2 active associates have already been arrested by Crime Branch in April, 2016.
INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION: -
            On 06.06.2016, HC Yashpal Singh and HC Sanjay Tyagi received a secret information that the desperate robber and gang leader @ Pawan @ Pappu @ Mama who was wanted in a series of gunpoint robberies in all over Delhi would come near Shamshan Ghat, Gazipur to meet his girlfriend. This information was further developed by the team of SWR, Crime Branch led by ACP Raman Lamba consisting of Insp. Keshav Mathur, SI Attar Singh, HCs Yashpal Singh, Sanjay Tyagi, Jagdev, Ravindra and Ct. Kuldeep under close supervision of DCP Bhisham Singh and a trap was laid near expected place of his arrival. The accused was successfully intercepted by the team while he was going with his girlfriend on his Splendor motorcycle. He tried to flee away, but was successfully apprehended by alert team members and arrested u/s 41.1 Cr.PC. The accused is a Bad Character of PS Mansarovar Park and is earlier involved in 17 cases of robbery and snatching etc.    
INTERROGATION AND DISCLOSURE: -
            On sustain interrogation, it is revealed that accused Pawan @ Pappu @ Mama belongs to a lower middle class family. He has studied upto 5th standard and after that he started assisting his father in his job. Later, he fell in bad company. In 2002, he was arrested for the first time in a snatching case by PS Kamla Market police and after that he remained involved in several cases of snatching and robberies etc.
            In 2010, he was again arrested by Crime Branch in a robbery case of PS Civil Lines registered vide FIR No.154/10, u/s 392/397/365/506/411/34 IPC in which he was awarded sentence for 7. In December 2015, he got released from jail and was in great need of money, hence, formed new gang comprising of Ashutosh @ Nishu, Rohit @ Raju both r/o Kirari and Vishal @ Vishu r/o Shahdara and started committing gunpoint robberies with the passersby in different areas of PSs Shahdara, New Usmanpur, Nihal Vihar and Aman Vihar. On further interrogation, he disclosed his involvement in following cases, which he had committed alongwith his associates namely Ashutosh @ Nishu, Rohit @ Raju and Vishal@ Vishu: -
1.         On 04.01.2016, the accused Pawan @ Pappu alongwith his associates robbed a bag containing Rs. 3 lacs and documents etc. alongwith gold chain and mobile phone from a lubricant businessman Aman Sharma r/o Rohini Delhi near Nanaksar Red Light, New Usman pur. A case vide FIR No. 20/16 dated 04.01.2016 u/s 392/34 IPC PS New Usmanpur was got registered in this regard.
2.         On 24.02.2016, the accused persons robbed gold chain, purse containing Rs. 4500/- and Voter/Aadhar/ATM Cards etc. from one Amit on gunpoint while he was returning home after attending a marriage function. A case vide FIR No. 261/16 dated 25.02.2016 u/s 392/394/397 PS Aman Vihar was got registered in this regard and accused persons Ashutosh @ Nishu, Rohit @ Raju have already been arrested by Crime Branch where as the gang leader Pawan @ Pappu @ Mama was  absconding.
3.         Again on 01.03.2016, the accused persons had stolen a white Scooty for the purpose of commission of robberies. A case vide e-FIR No. 6364/16 dated 01.03.2016 was got registered at PS e-Police Station Shahdara and after commuting  crime in different areas the accused persons left over the the stolen scooty in Mukharjee Nagar area. In this case, 2 accused persons Ashutosh @ Nishu, Rohit @ Raju have already been arrested by Crime Branch where as the gang leader Pawan @ Pappu @ Mama could not arrested.
 4.        On 02.03.2016, again the accused persons robbed Rs. 990/- and Apple mobile phone from a passerby in Shahdara area in this regard are case FIR No. 104/16 dated 02.03.2016 u/s 392/34 IPC was got registered. In this case, 2 accused persons Ashutosh @ Nishu, Rohit @ Raju have already been arrested by Crime Branch where as the gang leader Pawan @ Pappu @ Mama was absconding.
5.         On 04.03.2016, the accused persons also robbed a purse containing cash, ATM cards etc. and mobile a phone from a passerby. A case vide FIR No. 108/16 dated 04.03.2016 u/s 392/397/34 IPC was got registered at PS Shahdara and 2 accused persons Ashutosh @ Nishu, Rohit @ Raju have already been arrested by Crime Branch where as the gang leader Pawan @ Pappu @ Mama was absconding.
6.         On 04.03.2016 itself, while distributing the booty after commission of robbery in Shahdara area, they had opened fire towards a DTC employee on being interrupted. The victim sustained gunshot injury on his thigh. A case vide FIR No. 109/16 dated 04.03.2016 u/s 307/34 IPC was got registered at PS Welcome in this regard and 2 accused persons Ashutosh @ Nishu, Rohit @ Raju have already been arrested by Crime Branch where as the gang leader Pawan @ Pappu @ Mama was absconding.  
7.         On 17.03.2016, the accused persons robbed one Scooty, HDFC ATM card, Rs. 250/- and a Micromax phone from a youth on gunpoint while he was going to his house. In late night a case vide FIR No. 242/16 u/s 397/34 IPC PS Nihal Vihar was got registered and 2 accused persons Ashutosh @ Nishu, Rohit @ Raju have already been arrested by Crime Branch while the gang leader Pawan @ Pappu @ Mama was absconding. 
  8.       In the present case the accused Pawan @ Pappu alongwith his associates had robbed Rs. 500/-, DL and gold ornament on gunpoint from complainant Rizwan r/o Ghaziabad and his sister while they were going on motorcycle near Parshvanath Mall, Shahdara Flyover. A case vide FIR No. 138/16 dated 20.03.2016 u/s 392/397/34 IPC was got registered at PS Shahdara.                    
            Apart from above, the accused Pawan @ Pappu had further disclosed his involvement in several other incidents of robbery in various parts of Delhi which are being verified. The accused persons mostly target the passersby on roads and used two wheelers i.e. bike or scooty for commission of crime.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. MOST WANTED GANGSTER NAMELY GYANENDER @ GADGU REWARDEE OF RS.1 LAC ALONGWITH HIS ASSOCIATE RAJIV DAHIYA @ RAJU ARRESTED

Crime Branch has arrested two dreaded and desperate criminals namely (1) Gyanender @ Gadgu (29 yrs) s/o Mahender r/o Village Mandhothi, Distt.
