Recovery/Rescue of Kidnapped Minor Child Age 2 ½ Years

The timely action, alertness and professionalism shown by the staff of PS Dwarka Sec-23. The staff was able to rescue the kidnapped child namely Gendalal S/o Prushottam Age-2 ½ Years.  A case vide FIR No. 317/15 u/s 363/379 IPC Dated 20.08.0215 was registered at PS Dwarka Sec-23, in this regard.

On 20.08.2015, a PCR call vide DD No. 26A regarding kidnapping of minor child was received in the Police Station Dwarka Sec-23, Delhi. The complainant Sh. Purushottam (a labour) was contacted who stated that his wife Saroj was giving bath, she left the child outside, she went inside to get the clothes but when  she returned, she did not found her son. They searched around but found no clue and suspected some unknown person have kidnapped their minor child.

On receipt of the information of kidnapped child, the investigating officer at once flashed the information of the kidnapped child to the control room. The matter was also brought into the notice of senior officers. A police team under the supervision of Sh. S.K. Meena ACP/Dwarka, headed by Sh. Kamal Deep Singh SHO/PS Sec-23 Dwarka comprising of SI PR Hooda, Ct Abhay, Ct Naresh, Ct Mohit and other staff was formed immediately. During the investigation the staff was assigned to check all nearby CCTV cameras but no clue of the child was found. Hue and cry notice was also flashed and announcement of the kidnapped child was also made in the area. Information were also deployed. Suspecting that the kidnapper could be a neighbour or known person, on 21.08.2015 next day, in the early hours the area was cordoned and door to door combing operation was carried out by the team and by the sunrise of 21.08.2015 an information was received that someone has left the kidnapped child at DDA pump house near Village- Pochanpur, Delhi. The child later on was positively identified as a kidnapped child namely Gendalal by his parents. The stolen tricycle of the child was also recovered from the nearby of his house. 
Therefore, with the timely action, sheer professionalism, co-ordination, tactful investigation and high degree of sensitivity shown by the police officials the child was rescued from the clutches of the kidnapper and restored to his parents.

Efforts are being made to nab the offender/kidnapper through technical surveillance, finger print and other scientific means.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
