One Wanted Myanmar National Arrested.
Crime Branch has arrested a Myanmar national namely
Shaik Noor @ Noor-Ul-Haq @ Noor s/o Shaik Kasim, presently residing at Abul
Fazal Enclave, Delhi and recovered one
mobile phone, 5 ATM cards, 2 SIM cards, 2 pocket diaries and other
incriminating documents from him. He has obtained three Indian passports
whereas he is not a citizen of India. Accused has been staying illegally in
India for the last 40 years. He was wanted in case FIR No. 213/2015 u/s 370/466/468/471/473/474
r/w 109 IPC, section 12(1)(b)(d) Passport Act, 1967, section 14 of Foreigners
Act, 1946, section 16,18 of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967, section
10 & 24 of Emigration Act 1983 and section 3 of Passport Re-entry Act, 1920,
PS Central Crime Station, District Hyderabad, Telangana. He was also previously
found involved in a fake currency racket vide FIR No.752/08 u/s 489 B & C
IPC, PS C-1, Flower Bazar, Chennai and remained in Chennai jail for more than 2
years.
On 21.8.2015, a
secret input was received from a Central Intelligence Agency regarding one
accused Shaik Noor @ Noor who was involved in facilitating the perpetrators of
unlawful activities, members of banned terrorist organizations like HUJI etc.
and wanted in case of Hyderabad, Telangana. It was informed that he has been
traced at Abul Fazal Enclave, Delhi and can be apprehended if acted upon swiftly.
The information was further developed and a team of South
Western Range led by DCP Bhisham Singh and consisting of ACP Kailash Chandra, Insp.
Atul Tyagi, SI Nagender Singh, HCs Virender, Hamender, Cts Brijpal, Surender,
and Rakesh was constituted under close supervision of Addl.CP Alok Kumar to nab
him. The team laid a trap near the expected place of his arrival at street No.
20, Zakir Nagar, Delhi. After confirming his identity, he was apprehended.
On sustained interrogation about the offence, he
confessed his involvement in the offence of case FIR No.213/15, PS Central
Crime Station, District Hyderabad, Telangana. He was arrested u/s 41.(1) CrPC.
The information of his arrest was conveyed to the concerned PS Central Crime
Station, Hyderabad and details were verified. He was jointly interrogated with
the officials of Central Intelligence Agency.
On 14/8/2015, Commissioner’s Task Force of Hyderabad
had arrested six persons namely Mohammad Nasir (Pakistan), Faizal Mahmood
(Bangladesh), Joynal Abedin @ Mohd. Usman (Bangladesh) national and brother in
law of accused Shaik Noor), Masood Ali Khan, Sohail Parvez Khan and Zia-Ur-Rehman
in case FIR No.213/15 PS Central Crime Station, District Hyderabad. Out of them,
Mohammad Nasir was having close relations with Jihadi groups and POK based
militant ideologue Abdul Jabbar @ Malik Jabbar. Nasir sought the help of
accused Shaik Noor to infiltrate in India across border.
Accused Shaik Noor @ Nurul Haq @ Noor belongs to a poor family. He has studied
upto 4th standard. At the age of 8, he moved from Myanmar to
Bangladesh with his parents. At the age of 15, he illegally migrated to India..
After his 5 years stay at Wardhman, West Bengal, he moved to Delhi and stayed
at Sarai Kale Khan. Under the garb of selling “Namaji Topi” he started
facilitating the perpetrators of unlawful activities, members of banned
terrorist organizations like HUJI etc. He also managed to purchase a piece of
land of 100 square meter in Hyderabad. He is involved with a network which facilitates
illegal migrants in getting Indian passports on fake addresses. He has also
obtained three Indian passports with different identities. Further, he has
links in Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Myanmar. From his possession, 2
pocket diaries containing phone numbers of Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia have
been recovered.
During interrogation, accused Shaik Noor also
disclosed that on 5.9.2008, he alongwith his wife, son and other associates was
arrested in a fake currency circulation case vide FIR No. 752/08 u/s 489 B
& C IPC, PS C-1, Flower Bazar, Chennai. He was lodged in Chennai jail for
more than 2 years in this case.
Officials of PS Central Crime Station, Hyderabad,
Telangana arrived in Delhi and the accused was produced before the Hon’ble Court.
Accused has been remanded for 4 days transit remand to Hyderabad police.
Further investigation is being conducted by Hyderabad police.
