BJP RTI CELL ORGANISES A WORKSHOP ON DEMONETISATION

New Delhi, 17th Dec.  A workshop on the issue of demonetization was organized by RTI Cell Convener Shri Rajeshwar Nagpal at Mavalankar Hall, Rafi Marg, New Delhi. Union Minister Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, BJP Pradesh President Shri Manoj Tiwari and Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Shri Vijender Gupta were the prominent speakers in this workshop.



On this occasion Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad said that in the year 1971 when Smt. Indira Gandhi was the Prime Minister of India, an expert committee had recommended for demonetization of high value notes. But Smt. Gandhi has no political will power to take decision and implement it. Today our Prime Minister Shri Narender Modi has shown political will power and implemented the decision of demonetization which will be of great help to change the country into Cashless economy like developed countries. He said that at present about 11 crores Mobile sets are being manufactured in India and our country has become a hub of Mobile sets production.
Pradesh President Shri Manoj Tiwari said that adopting cashless system is not difficult and even senior citizens can use it easily. What is required is the will to learn cashless banking.


Leader of Opposition Shri Vijender Gupta explained the benefits of cashless shopping and said that we can make purchase of the value of even 1 rupee with the help of e-wallets, mobile apps etc.

Crime Branch has arrested two dreaded and desperate criminals namely (1) Gyanender @ Gadgu (29 yrs) s/o Mahender r/o Village Mandhothi, Distt. Jhajjar, Haryana, who is wanted in two sensational cases of murder of Haryana including one that of a brutal massacre, one case of attempt to murder of Badli, Delhi and 3 cases of extortion in Delhi & Haryana and (2) Rajeev Dahiya @ Raju (39 yrs) s/o Sukhbir Singh r/o R-95, Gali No. 15 A, Sawtanter Nagar, Narela, Delhi (permanent address-Village Nahari, Distt. Sonepat, Haryana), who is an absent BC of PS Narela, a bail jumper, a declared proclaimed offender in 2 murder cases and one case of Arms Act . Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
