Drug Trafficker Arrested



Crime Branch has arrested one drug trafficker namely Javed @ Sanu s/o Khushi Mohammad r/o A-47, Gali No. 3, Bank Colony, Harijan Basti, Mandoli Extension, New Delhi, has recovered one Kg of fine quality heroin from him. Value of the recovered heroin is Rs. 1 crore (approximately) in the international market. 
        On 03.01.2015, information was received by SI Karamveer that one Javed @ Sanu who resides somewhere in Mandoli is indulged in sale and supply of heroin in Delhi and surrounding areas. Javed is indulged in drug trafficking under the garb of a police informer and he would be coming near Bus Stand, Lalita park, Delhi to deliver a consignment of heroin to someone in noon. A trap was laid by a team of officers of the Narcotics Cell led by Inspr. Vivek Pathak consisting of SI Karamveer, HCs Kamal, Mahesh Kumar and Ct. Sudhir under the close supervision of ACP Ravinder Kumar Tyagi and overall guidance of Rajan Bhagat, to nab the drug trafficker, at Bus Stand, Lalita park, Delhi and Javed @ Sanu s/o Khushi Mohammad r/o A-47, gali No. 3, Bank Colony, Harijan Basti, Mandoli Extension, New Delhi was apprehended. On cursory search, one Kg of fine quality heroin was recovered from him. A case vide FIR No. 2/15 dated 03.01.2015 u/s 21 of NDPS Act has been registered at PS Crime Branch and the accused has been arrested in the case.
        During interrogation, it has been revealed accused Javed @ Sanu (40 Years) hails from Chishti Nagar, Ferozabad, Uttar Pradesh. His father was a teacher in Ferozabad. He has three brothers and two sisters. He is an undergraduate and had came to Delhi about 20 years ago. He initially resided at Khajuri Khas and started selling bangles in various areas of Delhi. One drug addict namely Kamal also used to reside in the same house who died due to drugs. Javed started living with the family of Kamal. He admittedly married the widow of Kamal. In 2002, he met one drug trafficker namely Roopram of Bareilly and on his instigation, Javed got into drug trafficking to make easy money. He was earlier arrested in FIR No. 98/02 PS Narcotics Branch, Delhi. Soon after coming out of jail, he remained in touch of many police officials and started working as informer for them. He started sale and supply of heroin under the garb of being an informer. He has claimed that he used to procure heroin from different drug traffickers of Uttar Pradesh.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
