Due to obstinate attitude of Kejriwal Government the working of Municipal Corporations has come to a Standstill


IF KEJRIWAL GOVERNMENT DOES NOT APPROVE THE WARD NOTIFICATION BY THE MONDAY AFTERNOON THE COUNCILORS AND WORKERS OF DELHI BJP WILL TAKE THIS ISSUE TO THE PEOPLE OF DELHI AND EXPOSE THE KEJRIWAL GOVERNMENT – MANOJ TIWARI

It is unfortunate that the Government which calls the session of the Legislative Assembly again and again for the assessment for the work of Municipal Corporations, is hiding on the issue of re-organization of Zonal Offices under the Municipal Corporations – Vijender Gupta          

New Delhi, 13th July.  Addressing a Press Conference today Delhi BJP President Shri Manoj Tiwari and Leader of Opposition in Legislative Assembly Shri Vijender Gupta warned the Arvind Kejriwal Government that if approval is not given to the ward notification for all the three Municipal Corporations by Monday afternoon (17th July) the Kejriwal Government should be prepared for a public movement. MLA Sardar Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Senior Leader Shri Subhash Arya and Media Incharge Shri Praveen Shankar Kapoor were present in the Press Conference.

Shri Tiwari said that Aam Aadmi Party which was defeated in the MCD elections is bent upon taking revenge from the people of Delhi and with this objective it is not allowing the BJP leadership elected by the people to work in the Municipal Corporations.

About 45 days ago the administrations of the three Municipal Corporations had forwarded the proposal for the re-organization of the jurisdiction of Zones but due to political malice, office of the Minister of Kejriwal Government Satender Jain is sitting over the file for about a month.

Shri Tiwari said that the Mayors of all the three Municipal Corporations and other leaders have met Chief Minister Kejriwal and Minister Satyender Jain many times but they are not ready to give their approval.

Delhi BJP President said that if Kejriwal Government does not approve the ward notification by the Monday afternoon the Councilors and workers of Delhi BJP will take this issue to the people of Delhi and expose the Kejriwal Government.

Shri Vijender Gupta said that due to obstinate attitude of Kejriwal Government the most important Standing Committees and Ward Committees of the Municipal Corporations are not being formed and due to this the elected Councilors are not getting funds and the entire system of Municipal Corporations has come to a standstill. The monsoon rains may become intense at any time and after that there will be danger of the outbreak of diseases like Dengue, Chikunguniya and Malaria. Similarly, the administration of Municipal Schools and Hospitals is also paralyzed.

Shri Vijender Gupta said that with the Ward delimitation by the Election Commission, the work of re-organizing the zonal offices is the duty of the Urban Development Ministry of Delhi Government but the Kejriwal Government is sitting over the file. Many new wards have been formed by joining two wards or at many places one ward has been divided into two wards. In this situation the Councilors are not getting officials and employees for getting the works done. He said that it is unfortunate that the Government which calls the session of the Legislative Assembly again and again for the assessment for the work of Municipal Corporations, is today hiding on the issue of re-organization of zonal offices under the Municipal Corporations.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
