Husband and Wife Duo Wanted in Cases of Cheating

Ø HUSBAND, WIFE FIRST MORTGAGED PROPERTIES TO BANKS AND OBTAINED LOANS.
Ø THEY THEN SOLD THESE MORTGAGED PROPERTIES TO INNOCENT AND UNSUSPECTING BUYERS. 
Ø RUPEES 20,000/-(EACH) REWARD WAS DECLARED FOR  THEIR ARREST.
Ø THEY HAD ALSO BEEN DECLARED PROCLAIMED OFFENDERS BY THE COURT.
Ø BOTH HAVE BEEN ARRESTED.
Ø THREE CASES OF CHEATING OF PS MIANWALI NAGAR, WEST DELHI HAS BEEN WORKED OUT. 
Ø THEY CHEATED INNOCENT AND UNSUSPECTING BUYERS TO THE TUNE OF MORE THAN RS. 4 CRORES. 

A team of officers of Crime Branch led by SI Harsh Vardhan, HC Ajay Kumar and HC Jitender Kumar under the supervision of ACP Sukhwinder Singh and overall supervision of DCP/Crime M.A. Rizvi has apprehended a husband and wife duo wanted in three cases of cheating of PS Mianwali Nagar, West Delhi. The cheats first mortgaged the properties to the banks and took loan against these properties. They then sold it to unsuspecting buyers without informing the buyers that the said properties had been mortgaged with the bank.  The cheats had been declared proclaimed offenders by the court and reward of Rs. 20,000/- each had been declared for their arrest.   

Information was received by HC Ajay Kumar that a husband and wife duo wanted in cases of cheating would come to Model Town, Delhi.  On this information, a trap was laid and they were apprehended.  They were identified as Mahipal Singh (aged 40 years) s/o Raja Ram and Ruchi Kumar (aged 33 years) w/o Mahipal Singh, r/o Pachim Vihar, Delhi. They were arrested under the appropriate sections of the law. 

The husband and wife duo were subjected to intensive interrogation.  It was revealed that the husband and wife duo alongwith one of their associates purchased properties and then obtained loans against these properties from banks after mortgaging them.  They then sold these properties to the unsuspecting and innocent buyers without informing them that they had procured loan from various banks against these properties.  The gain of husband and wife duo was two fold; the money obtained from the bank after mortgaging the property and the money obtained from the buyers after selling them the property.  All the properties are located in the area of Paschim Vihar, Delhi.  They have cheated unsuspecting and innocent buyers to the tune of more than Rs. 4 Crores. 

Local police has been informed about their arrest.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
