Valiant Women Personnel Nabbed a Jilted Lover With a Loaded Country Made Pistol

Valiant efforts of women personnel namely HC Jashvini and Ct. Pooja of P.S. Adarsh Nagar,  North-West District have resulted in nabbing of a jilted lover with loaded country made pistol  who was obsessive in one sided love affair. The person has been identified as Sunil, age 34 years, resident of Azadpur Village. The note recovered from the alleged suggested that he was determined to kill the girl and himself. The alleged had already been arrested in a case of molestation registered at PS Adarsh Nagar on the complaint of the girl.

                Brief Facts               

                Brief facts of the case are that On 28.01.16 while W/HC Jaswini and W/Ct. Pooja were present in the area of Lal Bagh for meeting with women and girls under the operation Bharosa, someone told them that a person having pistal in his hand had kidnapped a girl and taking her in the street. Both women police officers rushed towards the street indicated by that person and at some distance they found a person having one pistol in his right hand and he caught one girl in his left hand. He was challenging if anyone dared to save this girl, he would shoot that person. He was also screaming that he would shoot dead this girl. Both the women police officers warned him and asked him to release the girl but he continued threatening the public. No public person came forward to rescue the kidnapped girl.

Showing exceptional courage, both the women police officer overpowered the accused and W/HC Jasvini snatched the pistol from the accused while  W/Ct Pooja released  the girl from that clutches of accused.

       

        As the accused Sunil tried to run away after pushing both the women police personnel,  he was again overpowered by them.   In the process of nabbing, the accused took out some small plastic box and swallowed some pills. W/HC Jaswani tried to took out those pills from his mouth. In the meantime SHO with staff from PS Adarsh Nagar reached the spot and rushed the accused to BJRM Hospital immediately where he has been admitted and is under treatment. One country made pistal with three live cartridges and two empty cartridge has been recovered from the possession of accused Sunil. A case vide FIR No 46/16 U/S 365/307/506 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act has been registered at PS Ashok Vihar, Delhi.

        In the month of July 2015 Sunil was arrested for molestation of this same girl and a case vide FIR No 464/15 U/S 354 IPC had been registered in this regard.

        PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSON

        Sunil S/o Santram R/o Village Azadpur, Delhi, age 34 years is divorcee. The accused is also involved in case FIR No. 454/15 U/s 354 IPC, PS Adarsh Nagar, Delhi . This case was also registered on the complaint of same girl mentioned above.

3.   One suicide note.

A small plastic container having pills of sulfas.
