Robbery Case of P.S. Ranjit Nagar Solved: Two Arrested

With the arrest of (1) Naveen Kumar, aged about 32 years r/o Shadipur, Delhi and (2) Naveen Jindal, aged about 32 years r/o Najafgarh, Delhi, Central District Police has cracked a robbery case within 36 hours in which Rs. around 19 Lakhs/- cash was robbed away from a cash collection agent in the area of PS Ranjit Nagar, Central District, Delhi.  
All the looted booty has been recovered from the possession of the accused persons.

INCIDENT AND INVESTIGATION
              On 25.01.2016, information was received at P.S. Ranjit Nagar that cash around Rs. 19 Lakhs was taken away by hitting the scooter of a collection agent of a private company. The collection agent received some injuries. Immediately, a case vide FIR No. 50/16 u/s 394 IPC dated 25-01-2016 was registered at P.S. Ranjit Nagar, Delhi and the investigation was taken up.
 SEARCH AND INTERROGATION
The complainant Navaeen Kumar was interrogated at length.  He told that he is working as a field boy (collection agent) in Radiant Company at Jhandewalan, Paharganj, Delhi.  He further stated that after collection of money from different parts of Delhi while he was going back to his owner to hand over the collected amount around 19 Lakhs, one person came in a car, hit the scooty and robbed the whole amount and fled away from the spot. He was also injured by him. 
During investigation, there were some major contradictions in his statement which created suspicion. As such he was interrogated thoroughly in which Naveen Kumar broke down.  He disclosed that he was in dire need of money as he has to pay his debt.  He further stated that he had taken a hotel in Paharganj on lease in the year 2014. But the business incurred him a heavy financial loss and forced him to shut down the unit.     To overcome his debt, he along with his accomplice, Naveen Jindal working in same company, hatched a conspiracy to grab the money of the company.  According to plan, on 25-01-2016, at about 2.00 p.m. they reached at Shalimar Bagh after collection of money from different parts of Delhi where Naveen Kumar handed over the whole cash around 19 Lakhs to his accomplice Naveen Jindal.  After that Naveen Jindal along with whole cash went to his home at Najafgarh, Delhi while Naveen Kumar reached in the area of P.S. Ranjit Nagar, Delhi and hit his scooty in a car deliberately which caused simple hurt to him for misleading the police. 
Further investigation / interrogation is in progress.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
