Three Burglars Arrested: One TSR One Iron Rod, Two Screw Drivrers & Cash Rs 1000/- Recovered

With the arrest of Police of (1) Jair Mohd, aged about 24 years r/o Shahdara Delhi. (2) Shahrul Haq, aged about 21 years r/o Nangloi, Delhi and (3) Mohd Karamat Hussain, aged about 21 years r/o Chandni Chowk, Delhi, all belong to Bihar, Central District police has busted a gang of burglars.

One TSR, one iron rod, two screw drivers and cash Rs. 1000/- have been recovered from their possession.
INCIDENT
On 12.01.2016, one Sh. Arpit r/o Lajpat Nagar, Delhi reported at PS Paharganj that he runs a shop at main bazar,  Paharganj, Delhi. At about 12.00 Noon when he came to his shop, he noticed that shutter of his shop was broken from the middle side. On checking, he found that some cash was missing from his shop. Immediately, a case vide FIR No. 26/16 dated 12.01.16 u/s 457/380 IPC PS Paharganj, Delhi was registered and investigation was taken up.

TEAM AND INVESTIGATION
A team consisting of Inspr. Rajender Kumar, SHO/Paharganj, HC Ram Vilas, HC Jitender Malik, HC Vikender Kumar, Ct Sanjeev Kumar and Ct Upender was constituted under the close supervision of Sh. Om Parkash, ACP Paharganj, Central District, Delhi.

Sources were deployed in the area and local criminal intelligence was also gathered to nab the culprits.  A list of criminals with similar modus operandi was obtained. The CCTV footages of the shop where the incident had taken place and of the market area were viewed. In this CCTV footage the whole incident of robbery was found recorded.  The photographs of the accused persons were shown in the market area. During investigation, it was revealed that the accused persons used to come to commit the crime in the area of Paharganj and Hauz Qazi in late night hours. Several raids were conducted to nab the culprits.  On 28-01-2016, at about 1:45 a.m., when the police party were on patrolling duty to nab the culprits in the area of PS Paharganj, Delhi, they noticed that some persons in a TSR in suspicious circumstances. They were asked to justify the reason of their presence in the area in odd hours to which they could not provide satisfactory reply and started running.  The police team chased them and three persons were apprehended from the spot by the police team.   On search of the arrested persons and TSR, one iron rod, two screw drivers and cash Rs. 1000/- were recovered from their possession.

During thorough interrogation, it was revealed that they used to target shops, where they would do recee during the day time.  Thereafter, they would commit burglary in the late night hours. The accused persons used to break the locks/kundi with the house breaking equipments and then commit theft of valuables. The accused persons further revealed that they along with other accomplices have committed several burglaries in the area of Delhi.

PROFILE
1.      Jair Mohd r/o Shahdara Delhi is 24 years old.  He is illiterate. He runs an auto on hire basis and used to commit the crime. 
2.       Shahrul Haq r/o Nangloi, Delhi is 21 years old. He is illiterate. Initially, he was working as a labourer. 

3.      Mohd Karamat Hussain r/o Chandni Chowk, Delhi is 21 years old and has studied up to 9th class. Initially, he was working as a labourer.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
