Delhi BJP President Manoj Tiwari declares names of the candidates for the posts of Mayor, Dy-Mayor, Chairman, Dy-Chairman & Member of Standing Committee and Leader of the House for North, South & East Delhi Municipal Corporation

New Delhi, 18th April.   Delhi BJP President Shri Manoj Tiwari has declared the names of the candidates for the posts of Mayor, Dy-Mayor, Chairman, Dy-Chairman & Member of Standing Committee and Leader of the House for North, South & East Delhi Municipal Corporation.

Congratulating the councillors after the announcement of names for the aforesaid posts Pradesh President Shri Manoj Tiwari said that the party hopes that they shall discharge their responsibility by following the principle of Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas.  He said that we have tried to form a team which will take the campaign of MCD Aapke Dwar to the people and solve the problems connected with the corporations in a better way.

            Shri Manoj Tiwari further said that by including every section of society in selection of the candidates effort has been made to form an ideal team and I hope that all the selected councillors will after taking the charge, present the ideal of social, political and geographical development of Delhi and provide a transparent, honest and accessible corporation services.

North Delhi Municipal Corporation Candidates :  Mayor-Shri Adesh Kumar Gupta, Dy-Mayor Shri Rajesh Lawaria, Chairman Standing Committee Smt. Veena Viramani, Dy-Chairman Smt. Nisha Mann & Member Shri Manish Chaudhary and Leader of the House Shri Tilak Raj Kataria. 

South Delhi Municipal Corporation Candidates :  Mayor-Shri Narender Chawla, Dy-Mayor Shri Satyapal Malik, Chairman Standing Committee Smt. Shikha Rai, Dy-Chairman Smt. Poonam Bhati and Leader of the House Smt. Kamaljeet Sehrawat. 

East Delhi Municipal Corporation Candidates :  Mayor-Shri Bipin Bihari Singh, Dy-Mayor Smt. Kiran Vaidh, Chairman Standing Committee Shri Satyapal Singh, Dy-Chairman Shri Romesh Chand Gupta & Member Shri Sandeep Kapoor and Leader of the House Shri Nirmal Jain.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
