14 Year Old Kidnapping Case Solved

Crime Branch has successfully arrested one absconded criminal namely Rajesh Kumar Rajesh Kumar (44 yrs) s/o Kita Ram r/o Village Gaush Garh, PS Thanabhawan, Distt. Shamli, UP who was wanted in kidnapping case for the last 14 years. Cash reward of Rs. 50,000/- was also declared for his arrest by Delhi Police.
On 12.12.2001, case FIR No. 246/01 u/s 363 IPC was registered at P.S. Farsh Bazar, Delhi on the complaint of Sh. Ashok Kumar Sharma s/o Sh. Daya Ram r/o H.No.F-27, Rajpuri Colony, Loni Border, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. He stated that his daughter Minakshi age 17 years, a student of class XII, had been kidnapped on 10.12.2001 from STD Booth, Near Ram Leela Maidan Ground, Bhola Nath Nagar, Shahdara, Delhi, on her way to school. The complainant had further alleged that one Rajesh (old tenant of complainant) has kidnapped his daughter Minakshi. The investigation of the case was taken up by the officials of PS Farsh Bazar. The local police made best efforts to trace the victim girl and the accused, but no clue was found. Later on, investigation was transferred to Crime Branch.

Keeping in view the gravity of the case, a dedicated team of led by DCP Rajeev Sharma and consisting of ACP Jitender Singh, Inspr. Pawan Kumar, ASIs Murlidhar, Rakesh, HC Dinesh, Cts. Karambir Singh, Om Prakash, W/Cts Sunita and Sweety was constituted under the overall supervision of Addl.CP Alok Kumar to trace the kidnapped girl and nab the absconding criminal
During investigation, it was reliably learnt that the absconding criminal namely Rajesh Kumar had committed this crime.The information about the accused was closely scrutinized by the team. On 14.11.2015, specific information was received by ASI Murlidhar and Const Karambir of AHTU that the accused is in Amritsar (Punjab). Immediately, the team swung into action, laid a trap at Amritsar and at the instance of the informer, accused Rajesh Kumar was apprehended/arrested and kidnapped girl Minakshi was traced, who was living with him as his wife.

        During interrogation, accused Rajesh Kumar confessed his crime and stated that on 10.12.2001, when Minakshi had gone to school at Bholanath Nagar Shahdara, he kidnapped her and took her to Punjab and other places. In 2005, he married Minakshi and son namely Jatin aged about 10 years was born out of this wedlock. For the last few years, he was residing at Amritsar and did not contact any of his relatives since 2001.
Accused Rajesh Kumar was born in Village Gaush Garh, PS Thanabhawan, Distt Shamli (UP). His father was a farmer. He has two brothers and two sisters. His father expired. Rajesh has reportedly not visited his native village for the past 20-22 years. He has studied upto class 12. In the year 2000-2001, he had resided as a tenant at the victim’s house. He was already married then with one Savita @ Moti and had a daughter namely Parul (Presently about 18 years) born out of the wedlock. At the time of his arrest from Amritsar, he was doing embroidery work on ladies suits to earn his livelihood at Amritsar.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
