03 Cases of Robbery Solved and Robbed Articles Recovered
With the arrest of accused (1) Vijay
S/o Prahlad Mehto (2) Rohit s/o Kishori Chaudhry (3) Rohit Kumar s/o Suresh
Chaudhary, a team of P.S. Geeta Colony/ East District has worked out 03 cases
of robbery and recovered robbed articles
from their possession.
Team & Incident: -
On
01.11.2015, SI Jagdeep Malik received a secret information regarding assembling
of robbers at Yamuna Khadar who were preparing to commit robbery and also
involved in several previous robberies. So a trap was laid to apprehend the
robbers under the leadership of Insp. Ranbir Singh/ SHO/Geeta Colony comprising
of Insp. Arun Chauhan, SI Jagdeep Malik, SI Gaurav Panwar, Ct. Arvind No.
974/E, Ct. Mahender No. 2384/E, Ct. Devvrat No. 1707/E, under the close
supervision of Sh. Mahesh Tholia, ACP/ Gandhi Nagar, Sub-Division, and the robbers
(1) Vijay S/o Prahlad Mehto R/o H. No.
16& 17, Gali No.1, Sarojni Naidu Park, Shastri Nagar, Delhi, Age 28 yrs,
(2) Rohit s/o Kishori Chaudhry r/o H. No. 1-X/3, Gali No.11, New Lahore Colony,
Shastri Nagar, Delhi, Age- 19 years (3) Rohit Kumar s/o Suresh Chaudhry r/o H.
No. 38, Rani Garden, Shastri Nagar, Delhi, Age-20 years were apprehended from their
secret hideouts made in a lonely place under the pipe line adjacent to Yamuna
Khadar Road surrounded by big bushes . On sustained interrogation, they
disclosed that they committed three robberies and one theft from the area of
P.S. Geeta Colony by obstructing the persons or vehicles in late evening on
darks patches by showing the fear of life to them. On their instance, robbed articles and motor
cycle have been recovered.

Profile of Accused persons:- All the arrested accused person are illiterate and
belong to the lower strata of society. They commits robbery to earn the money
in sweet and easy manner. The profile of
all the arrested accused persons are as under:-

Vijay S/o Prahlad Mehto, Age 28 yrs, works in a shop of garments and studied up
to second class.
(2)
Rohit s/o Kishori Chaudhry, Age- 19 years, left his study after 11th
class and doing nothing and falls in the society of miscreants.
(3)
Rohit Kumar s/o Suresh Chaudhry, Age-20 years, is an illiterate and runs the
rehri of fruit juice.
