Tantrik Arrested: Duped Young Woman of Rs. 28100/- and Jewelry



The staff of Police Station Daryaganj, Central District, Delhi has arrested a ‘Tanrik’ namely Zulfikar s/o Hakim r/o  Gali- Hakimwali, Daryaganj, Delhi. Age 40 years, who duped innocent young lady to the tune of Rs. 28,100/-, gold jewelry and tried to establish physical relationship on pretext of calling her father back from Canada . 
INCIDENT
           On 2nd  Nov’2015 young lady noticed an advertisement in leading news paper, in which it was given that ‘ Samsya ka samadhan karayen’ and one mobile number was given. After looking at this advertisement, she called on the given mobile where she was asked to come to their office at Gali Hakim wali Darya Ganj. When she reached there on 03/11/2015 she was induced and illusion was created that Tantrik Zulfikar knows everything about her family members. He told her that he has to go for night prayer and asked her to give Rs.7,100/- for this. She got impressed from the tactics of the Tantrik and gave him money as per demand. On 04/11/2015 he again called her and told that to get her father back he has to give sacrifice of 3 goats and demanded Rs, 21,000/- from her. She was shown some more tantric tactics and she fell prey to that and brought money from his house and gave it to him. He further demanded to give the gold chain and two gold rings which she was wearing and asked her to come on 06/11/15. When she came on 06/11/15, he asked her to establish physical relations with her, on which she got afraid and went back to her house and narrated her ordeal to her mother. Her mother sent one of her friend with her and reported the matter to PS- Daryaganj on 07/11/2015 and case FIR No713/15, U/S- 354-A/420/506-IPC was registered  



Team  and INVESTIGATION
            In view of gravity and sensitivity of the case, a team led by Inspr. Satender Mohan SHO/Daryaganj comprising of SI Ajay Singh , Ct. Virender  and Ct. Anil  was constituted under the supervision of Ms. Apoorva Gupta ,ACP/ Daryaganj.

The team immediately reacted and raided the gali Hakimwali and  on instance and identification, accused Zulfikar was arrested and interrogated. On which he confessed to his crime and told that by showing some magical tricks he entices people and induced them.

INTERROGATION
            Accused Zulfikar was subjected to sustain interrogation in which he disclosed that he along with his accomplices duped this young lady for getting her father back to India from Canada and took Rs 28100/- and jewelery from her. On finding that she is now in complete control and following his direction he further thought of establishing physical relationship with her and asked her to come with him but she denied to it and reported matter to police. Investigation regarding his previous victims and involvement is in progress.
PROFILE
Zulfikar is a married man of 40 years with 6 children (2-Sons and 4 daughters.) He was born and brought up in Meerut UP and 15 years back came to Delhi and opened shop at Gali Hakimwali. He is also having some staff to assist him in his work.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
