Member of Gulel Gang Arrested.

A team of PS R.K. Puram, South District have arrested one of the member of ‘Madrasi Gulel Gang’ viz. Kanhiya Lal S/o Venkat Rai R/o H No I/215, Madangir, New Delhi Age 23 Yrs  

With his arrest total 04 stolen Laptops, one Button Affiliated Knife,   Gulel and Iron Rings, Tyre Buster (Sua) were recovered.  

Brief facts & Interrogation & Arrest:

          In view of increasing incidents of theft of valuables after breaking the Glass of Car/ Vehicle from Market Place and Shopping complexes, a team of PS R K Puram, consisting of SI Vijay Kaushik, ASI Surender Rana, HC Sukender, HC Naim, HC Gulab Singh, HC Sanjeev, Ct Anuj,  Ct Manoj, Ct Prashant & Ct Ajit Punia under the leadership of Insp Vijay Pal Dahiya, Supervision of Insp Neeraj Chaudhary/ SHO R K Puram and overall supervision Sh Somender Pal Tyagi, ACP/ Safdarjung Enclave was constituted. The strategic points were notified and team in groups kept sharp vigil over the points i.e. market place and Cinema Halls where lots of peoples used to visit for shopping etc. cars.

          The effortless and relentless efforts of the team yield results when on  14.10.2015, team spotted accused Kanhiya Lal S/o Venkat Rai R/o H No I/215, Madangir, New Delhi Age 23 Yrs is suspicious condition in front of Sangam Cinema, Sector-9, R K Puram, ND. Kanhiya Lal above –said as overpowered and apprehended by the team while his rest of associates managed to flee from the spot on Auto. From the possession of accused one Button affiliated knife, One Gulel, two Iron Rings & one Tyre Buster (SUA) were recovered. In this regard, a case vide FIR No 860/15 u/s 25/54/59 A Act was registered at PS R K Puram.

          During the sustained interrogation of accused, it was revealed that accused is the active member of ‘GULEL GANG’ and on 14.10.2015, after committing incidents at Uttam Nagar Area, they in AUTO used for commission of crime and  with the motive of further incident came at Sangam Cinema (Area of PS R K Puram).

          Accused further disclosed that, they also involved minor children’s for commission of crime and one of Child, age 08 Yrs (bring by accused persons for commission of crime) was also present / found near the spot was also spotted by the team.

          During sustained interrogation of accused, accused disclosed their involvement in more the 25 incidents of theft from car after opting above-said Modus- Operandi.

Accused was also arrested in CASE FIR NO 728/ 15 DATED 03.09.2015 U/S 379 IPC PS R K PURAM, ND.

PC Remand of accused was obtained, during the PC Remand of accused, four laptops (1) Laptop Lenova Black Colour (2) Laptop Toshiba, Grey Colour, (3) Laptop HCL Grey Colour & (4) Laptop HP Grey Colour disclosed to be stolen from different area of Delhi after breaking car glass were recovered. 

MODUS OPERADI:-

Accused persons first conduct the Recce of the area and prefer to choose Market Places, Public Gathering Places, Shopping Malls and Cinema Halls, where people parked their vehicles in road Side. Accused persons used AUTO of one of the accused for conducting RECCE of the area. Accused persons also involved minor children’s aged between 08 to 12 yrs alongwith them, to check the belongings inside the parked Car, to evade detention from local Police and Public Persons. Accused also used to travel with weapons i.e. Knife with them to made terror, if their movement captured. After targeting the vehicle, one of the accused from Gulel and Iron Rings breaks the window Glass of Car from a distance.

Details and profile of accused Person :-

1.   Kanhiya Lal S/o Venkat Rai R/o H No I/215, Madangir, New Delhi Age 23 Yrs. Accused Kanhiya Lal is illiterate and is the native of Chennai. He alongwith his associates used to commit theft of Valuables from parked Car in front of Shopping Malls, Cinema Halls & Other Public Gathering Places.
