A Gang of Robbers-cum- Dacoits Busted

The Commissioner of Police, Delhi has promulgated ‘Operation Shishtachar’ and ‘Operation Bharosa’ to win the confidence of public. Under these operations two teams comprising male and female police staff were constituted. Members of both the teams were directed to check the buses, bus-stands to develop information about active robbers/snatchers, in view of the increasing incidents especially in buses. The staff was directed to check the buses randomly at different locations.

Consequent upon this drive, on a tip off, on 13.10.15 a gang of robbers- cum-dacoits run under the name of “Sachin Gang” was busted and four desperate accused namely (1) Sachin S/O Shyam Lal R/O B-601, Mangol Puri Delhi, (2) Raghubir S/O Ram Sunder R/O N-17, A-120, Wazir Pur J.J. Colony Delhi, (3) Mangal Sen S/O Bhim Sen R/O FW-29/139, Mangol Puri Delhi and (4) Rajpal @ Chote S/O Jaipal R/O WZ-270, Shakur Pur Village, Delhi were arrested.  Out of four arrested accused, two are B.C. having more than 15 involvements of robbery, snatching and other serious offences. Whereas, two are involved in over 4 cases.  One Desi Katta, two cartridges, two Button knives and one cutter have been recovered from their possession. Case vide FIR No. 1276/15 u/s 399/402, 25/54/59 Arms Act PS. Janak Puri has been registered.

TEAM AND INVESTIGATION :-

Under the close supervision of ACP/Vikas Puri and on the directions of Insp. R.S. Meena -SHO/JanakPuri, a team comprising SI Pramod, SI Umesh, ASI Ramesh, HC Sanej No. 463/W, HC Bijender No. 734/W, HC. Rajinder No. 349/W, HC. S.N. Rao No. 1905/W, Ct. Maninder No.1241/W, Ct. Devender No. 1966/W, Ct. Naresh No. 3052/W was constituted.  The accused were put to sustained interrogated and they disclosed that  they are operating a gang  and Sachin is the gang-leader. They further disclosed that all they together used to encircle a person in the crowded bus (thek lagana) and then either pickpocket the victim or on his/her resisting they stab to the victim or even not afraid to shoot. All the accused disclosed that daily their goal was to share Rs. 1500-2000 (each associate of the  booty). They further disclosed that they have committed more than 10 incidents of pick pocketing and other theft in the buses.

PROFILE:
1.   Sachin S/O Shyam Lal is uneducated. He could not continue his study because of poverty. After attaining the majority he started committing crime such as pick pocketing, snatching, robbery and other crime to lead a luxurious life. He is involved in more than 18 cases and is a B.C. of PS. Mangol Puri.

2.   Raghubir S/O Ram Sunder is uneducated. He could not continue his study because of poverty. After attaining the majority he started committing of crime such as pick pocketing, snatching, robbery and other crime with his associates to lead a luxurious life and  is previously involved in more than 16 cases.  He is a B.C. of PS. Bharat Nagar.

3.   Mangal Sen S/O Bhim Sen is uneducated. He could not continue his study because of poverty. He was working as a cobbler and was not getting sufficient income. He came into contact of  Sachin and other associates and started committing of crime such as pick pocketing, snatching, robbery and other crime to lead a luxurious life.


4.  Rajpal @ Chote S/O Jaipal has studied upto 5 class. He could not continue his study because of poverty. Initially, he was working as a painter and thereafter joined the gang of Sachin and  started committing crime such as pick-pocketing, snatching, robbery and other crime with his associates to lead a luxurious life.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. MOST WANTED GANGSTER NAMELY GYANENDER @ GADGU REWARDEE OF RS.1 LAC ALONGWITH HIS ASSOCIATE RAJIV DAHIYA @ RAJU ARRESTED

Crime Branch has arrested two dreaded and desperate criminals namely (1) Gyanender @ Gadgu (29 yrs) s/o Mahender r/o Village Mandhothi, Distt. Jhajjar, Haryana, who is wanted in two sensational cases of murder of Haryana including one that of a brutal massacre, one case of attempt to murder of Badli, Delhi and 3 cases of extortion in Delhi & Haryana and (2) Rajeev Dahiya @ Raju (39 yrs) s/o Sukhbir Singh r/o R-95, Gali No. 15 A, Sawtanter Nagar, Narela, Delhi (permanent address-Village Nahari, Distt.
