ONE MORE ARRESTED IN ESPIONAGE RACKET RUN BY PAK ISI

This is in continuation to the press release issued on 30.11.15 regarding arrest of one handler of Pakistan Intelligence Operative and one serving security personnel of BSF.

During further investigation, the team of Inter State Cell of Crime Branch had gone to J&K in search of other persons involved in this racket. The team has further arrested a retired Havildar of Indian Army namely Munawwar Ahmad Mir from Jammu & Kashmir for being part of the espionage racket. He had joined the Indian Army in 1995 and took retirement in 2011 after serving in J&K Light Infantry, Rashtriya Rifles etc. at various places in India. He is being produced before the concerned court in J&K for seeking his transit remand for bringing him to Delhi for further interrogation.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi. MOST WANTED GANGSTER NAMELY GYANENDER @ GADGU REWARDEE OF RS.1 LAC ALONGWITH HIS ASSOCIATE RAJIV DAHIYA @ RAJU ARRESTED

Crime Branch has arrested two dreaded and desperate criminals namely (1) Gyanender @ Gadgu (29 yrs) s/o Mahender r/o Village Mandhothi, Distt. Jhajjar, Haryana, who is wanted in two sensational cases of murder of Haryana including one that of a brutal massacre, one case of attempt to murder of Badli, Delhi and 3 cases of extortion in Delhi & Haryana and (2) Rajeev Dahiya @ Raju (39 yrs) s/o Sukhbir Singh r/o R-95, Gali No. 15 A, Sawtanter Nagar, Narela, Delhi (permanent address-Village Nahari, Distt. Sonepat, Haryana), who is an absent BC of PS Narela, a bail jumper, a declared proclaimed offender in 2 murder cases and one case of Arms Act . At the time of apprehension, both the accused fired on police personnel, however, they were finally overpowered.
