AUTO LIFTER GANG BUSTED BY NORTH-WEST DISTRICT

Staff of Police Station Mukherjee Nagar North-West District has arrested four auto lifter namely Raj Kumar S/o Sh. Dharam Pal, R/o H. No. C-146, Gali No. 2, Prakash Vihar, Karawal Nagar, Delhi, Ram Prasad S/o Sh. Om Prakash, R/o H. No. B-2/208, Narela, Delhi & Sanjay Meena S/o Sh. Vishnu Dutt Meena, R/o H. No. B-4 Colony, Pocket-1, Narela, Delhi. They came in a white santro car which was without number plate and was driven by Sanjay Meena.

INCIDENT

Keeping in view of the of MV Thefts in the area a team consist of SI Manzoor Alam No. D/5045, SI Vinay Pal No.6667/D along with PSI Surender No. D/5474HC Jitender No. 1213/NW, Ct. Deepak No. 2212/NW and Ct. Anil No. 2354/NW was formed for conducting checking at Pickets in random manner under the close supervision of SHO/Mukharjee Nagar Inspr. Veer Singh No. D1/279. On 02.12.15, vide D.D. No. 17A above team proceeded for vehicle checking at Burari Picket. During checking suddenly accused namely Raj Kumar S/o Sh. Dharam Pal, R/o H. No. C-146, Gali No. 2, Prakash Vihar, Karawal Nagar, Delhi, 3 Ram Prasad S/o Sh. Om Prakash, R/o H. No. B-2/208, Narela, Delhi & Sanjay Meena S/o Sh. Vishnu Dutt Meena, R/o H. No. B-4 Colony, Narela, Delhi came in a white santro car which was without number plate. The car was stopped by H/Ct Jitender, Ct. Anil and Ct. Deepak and was asked to produce documents related to the ownership of the car, but the above persons started making excuses and could not justify as to how the car came to their possession. Became suspicious and they were questioned about the possession of vehicle but they could not give any satisfactory reply regarding possession of the vehicle. They all were brought in police station and interrogated who on sustained questioning disclosed that they had stolen the vehicle from Panipat. All the three accused persons were arrested u/s 41.1 (D) Cr.P.C. The stolen vehicle was seized u/s 102 Cr.PC. They further disclosed that they had also stolen vehicles from Burari and Ashok Vihar. They disclosed that stolen vehicles were sold by Sanjay Meena to one Shahzad S/o Md. Yakub, R/o H. No. 693, Pocket-11, Sec-A/6, Punaravas Colony, Narela, Delhi. On their disclosure accused Shahzad was also arrested and six vehicles were also recovered and seized from his shop situated at Pocket-11, Sec-A-6, Punarvas Colony, Narela, Delhi in which three cars were without number plate.

1.   EECO Silver Colour, Chassis No. 35651, Engine No. 195635 which was reported stolen from the area of PS Burari vide FIR No. 20844/15 u/s 379 IPC, Dt. 28/11/15 on the basis of Chassis No. as the accused Shahzad told that he changed the engine of the EECO

2.   EECO White Engine No. 34739, Chassis No. 58304, which was reported stolen from the area of PS Ashok Vihar vide FIR No. 20313/15 u/s 379 IPC, Dt. 23/11/15,

3.   Santro White Colour Engine No. 72647, Chassis No. 59006 without engine.

4.   Esteem White DL 6CH 4133, , Engine No. 14541, Chasis No. 77575 without seat.

5.   Santro White Colour Engine No. 107302, Chassis No. 170815 without Number plate

4.   Sanjay Meena S/o Sh. Vishnu Dutt Meena, R/o H. No. B-4 Colony, Pocket-1, Narela, Delhi 26 years is un-employed who came to Delhi in search of job but he failed and came in contact of Raj Kumar and ram Prasad and started auto-lifting in this group.
