A gang of robber cum snatchers busted : 2 accused persons arrested

With the arrest of 2 robbers namely Deepak @ Nikhil (25 years) r/o Badarpur, New Delhi and Amit @ Pali (23 years) r/o Badarpur, New Delhi, a team of Special Staff, South District has recovered one Pistol along with 2 live cartridges, one Desi Katta along with one live cartridge and 5 stolen laptops and solved 5 cases of robbery and theft.
Brief facts:
In order to prevent the incidents of robbery in the area of South District, a team consisting of SIs Amit Kumar, Bhagirath Prasad, ASI Mahender, HCs Vinod, Ashok, Joginder, Ravinder and Cts. Sonu, Satyapal, Pyar Singh, Anoop and Ct. Yogesh under the leadership of Inspr. Akhileshwar Yadav, I/C Special Staff, South District was formed to develop information about the active criminals in the area and to arrest them.  The team worked relentlessly and deployed sources to get clue about the criminals involved in such criminal activities.  On 06-12-15, the team got input that two youngsters involved in robbery and theft incidents would go to Asian Market via M B Road on yellow Pulsar motorcycle to commit some crime carrying illegal fire arms with them. Accordingly, the team laid trap and at around 3:50 pm stopped one yellow Pulsar motorcycle near Asian Market. Both the rider and pillion rider were overpowered by the police party.  During enquiry, they were identified as Deepak @ Nikhil and Amit @ Pali, both r/o Badarpur, Delhi.  On search, one Pistol with 2 live cartridges and one Desi Katta with one live cartridge were recovered from their possession. 
Interrogation:
          During interrogation, both accused persons disclosed that they had been involved in many cases of robbery/thefts in South Delhi. They further disclosed that they used to commit robberies on motorcycle and steal laptops and other valuable by breaking the windowpanes of cars, parked at lonely places. At the instance of accused persons, 5 stolen laptops recovered.
Accused Deepak @ Nikhil disclosed his involvement in a stunning shootout in the area of PS Sarita Vihar last month, in which one person sustained injury.  
Accused Amit @ Pali disclosed that he was in Tihar Jail after sentence of 3 years imprisonment in a robbery case of PS Badarpur.  In October, 2015, he was released on bail and joined accused Deepak @ Nikhil and started pick pocketing and thefts.  Accused Amit is previously involved in 3 criminal cases.
Recovery:       
1.   One Pistol along with 2 live cartridges
2.   One Desi Katta along with one live cartridge

3.   5 laptops.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. MOST WANTED GANGSTER NAMELY GYANENDER @ GADGU REWARDEE OF RS.1 LAC ALONGWITH HIS ASSOCIATE RAJIV DAHIYA @ RAJU ARRESTED
