Delhi Police Constable shines in America
One of the Delhi Police Constables
namely Jitender Singh stands high and shines in the World Police Games held at Virginia,
America. The Constable snatched FOUR
Medals in the 2015-Fairfax World Police
& Fire Games” held from 26th June to 5th
July-2015. This is the continuous outstanding
performance by Delhi Police Sportsmen under Shri Omvir Singh Bishnoi, IPS, DCP-1st
Bn. cum Sports Officer of Delhi Police.
He himself takes keen interest in facilitating the sportsmen attached
with him to practice under various sports discipline. This is one the highest position achieved by
a Sportsman under Shri Bishnoi. Earlier
also Delhi Police wrestling, Kabaddi and Athletics team performed outstandingly
well under him. His motivation lead the
sportsmen spirit kindled in sportsmen practicing under him and resulted in continuous
achievement.
Very
hard and timely efforts were made to make Jitender Singh participate in the
World Police Games held at America. Jitender
Singh also worked hard and practiced day and night to bring laurels to the
Delhi Police. This is for the First time that a Delhi Police Constable has been
successful in participating in World Police shooting Games. He won 04 medals by his bright, stunning and
outstanding performance at America. His winning
positions are as under:-

Gold in 10 mtrs Air Rifle,
2.

Silver Medal in .22 bore Rifle prone competition 50 mtrs.,

silver in .22 bore Three Position 50 mtrs. and
4.
01
Bronze Medal in 300 mtrs rifle prone competition.
Jitender Singh is the first ever Delhi Police personnel
to participate in the World Police Games on behalf of Delhi Police. The Commissioner of Police, Delhi expressed
his enthusiasm and happiness on this great achievement in the World Police
Games. There are bundles of
congratulations being conveyed from various organizations to Jitender Singh on
his outstanding victory besides a warm welcome is also being organized at DAP 1st
Bn. Sports Ground to boost up the morale of other Sports persons in this
regard.
