Sensational Double Murder Case of PS S.P. Badli Solved

In a major breakthrough and excellent detective work, Crime Branch has worked out a sensational double murder case of PS S.P. Badli and arrested three persons namely (i) Sachin Dabas (19 yrs) s/o Joginder Singh r/o H. No.242, Mangolpur Kalan, Delhi, (ii) Shahrukh Ali (20 yrs) s/o Musarat Ali r/o C-97, Vijay Vihar, Phase-II, Delhi, and (iii) Deepak Sethi (20 yrs) s/o Sandeep Sethi  r/o D-17/52, Sec-3, Rohini, Delhi. The deceased boys Yash Nandal and Prince Dixit were earlier friends of the accused but had later developed enmity with the deceased persons.
On 07.06.15, a PCR Call was received at PS SP Badli regarding drowning of two boys in Munak Canal near village Khera Kalan Village Bridge (falls under PS SP Badli) who were identified as Yash Nandal, aged 20 years and Prince Dixit, aged 21 years. On 08.06.15, Samarjeet Singh and Raj Dixit, fathers of the drowned boys Yash Nandal and Prince Dixit respectively lodged written complaints in the PS SP Badli alleging foul play and suspected Shahrukh, Sachin Dabas and Deepak Sethi regarding unnatural death of their sons.
On 09.06.15, both the bodies of Yash Nandal and Prince Dixit were recovered from Wazirabad, Yamuna River in the area of PS Timar Pur.  Their post mortem examination was got conducted at Sabzi Mandi Mortuary by PS Timar Pur in whose jurisdiction the dead bodies were found. The inquest papers were later on transferred to PS SP Badli.
On 14.06.15, Smt. Kusum Lata, the mother of deceased Yash also filed a complaint at PS SP Badli and another complaint was filed by Sh. Raj Dixit, the father of deceased Prince Dixit alleging foul play. On 25.06.15 post mortem reports of both deceased boys were obtained by local police of PS SP Badli. After receiving the post mortem reports, a case vide FIR No.769/15 u/s 302/201/34 IPC PS S.P. Badli was registered and investigation was taken up by PS Samai Pur Badli police. During the course of investigation, local police had examined various persons and interrogated alleged persons namely Sachin Dabas, Shahrukh Ali and Deepak Sethi time to time on the points of doubts and allegations raised by the complainant and their family members but in vain. Consequently, on the orders of the Commissioner of Police, the investigation of case was transferred to Crime Branch.
The case was further marked to Norther Range, Crime Branch and a team led by DCP Dinesh Kumar Gupta, consisting of Inspr. Ravinder Verma, Investigation Officer, SIs Narender, Amit Dahiya, ASI Roshan, HCs Harvinder Singh, Mahesh, Rishi Ram, Yatender, Cts. Sonu, Sanjeev, Vinay and Ravi Khari was constituted under the supervision of Addl.CP Alok Kumar to work out the case. The team of Crime Branch worked hard and the alleged persons were put to sustained interrogation. On 25.07.15, alleged Shahrukh Ali, Sachin Dabas and Deepak Sethi confessed their involvement in the crime and they were arrested after sufficient evidence came on record.
During sustained interrogation, it was revealed that deceased Yash Nandal, Prince Dixit and accused Shahrukh Ali and Sachin Dabas were close friends. Accused Shahrukh Ali had a taken a franchisee of Just Dial Company last year and Yash Nandal had invested some money in the business and later on the business has been closed and money invested by Yash Nandal was not returned by Shahrukh Ali. Yash and his close friend Prince Dixit had pressurized Shahrukh Ali from time to time and Shahrukh was very annoyed due to this.
On the fateful day of 07.06.15 at 11 am, Sachin Dabas along with Deepak Sethi reached the house of Yash Nandal and made plans of drinking liquor and bathing in the canal. However, they also said that they were going to Murthal for eating paranthas. Yash’s mother objected to them but Sachin told her that they would also settle the difference between Shahrukh Ali and Yash Nandal which had arisen due to money dispute. On the way, they obtained one alcohol bottle and 2 beer bottles from their friend Manish and then the trio went out and reached Sector-23, Rohini where Shahrukh Ali reached in his car. Then they went to Prince Dixit’s house in Shahrukh Ali’s car and took him along and reached back to Sector-23, Rohini after purchasing another bottle of alcohol. This flat was taken by them on rent for drinking purpose.
During drinking, Shahrukh Ali and Sachin hatched a plan to kill Yash and Prince Dixit on the same day at Munak Canal and also included Deepak Sethi in their plan. Therefore, they induced Yash and Prince to drink more and themselves consumed less alcohol. After this, Shahrukh and Sachin Dabas insisted for bathing at Munak Nahar. All agreed and left the flat with alcohol and reached Munak Nahar near Khera Village Bridge, a secluded place which was selected by Shahrukh and Sachin. At this place, they  again started consuming alcohol. Yash and Prince were made to consume greater amount of alcohol. At this juncture as per their plan, Shahrukh told Prince Dixit to visit Saurabh’s house at Sector 16, Rohini for a compromise and himself made a call to Saurabh from Prince’s number.
They knew that Prince and Yash would object to it as Saurabh did not help Prince Dixit in a quarrel that took place in May, 2015. In this incident, Prince was beaten by some persons while Saurabh was present at the site at their college DIRD, Nangli Poona and a case u/s 308 IPC was registered.
There was heated exchange at the site of incident. After sometime, Shahrukh Ali kicked Prince Dixit towards Munak Nahar and Prince fell in the canal. While falling, he caught the leg of Shahrukh Ali and both fell inside the Munak Nahar. Sachin also jumped in the canal and both started beating Prince Dixit with stones lying in the Nahar and hit his head on the wall of the canal. To save his friend, Yash also jumped into the canal whereas Deepak Sethi also jumped in the canal to help Shahrukh and Sachin Dabas. Shahrukh, Sachin and Deepak Sethi started beating Yash Nandal with stones and hit his head on the wall of the canal. In short time, both Yash and Prince died and were carried away by the water current. Later on 09.06.15, both dead bodies were recovered by PS Timar Pur police.
After committing murders, all the three accused went from the canal and hid the mobile phone of deceased Yash and also hid the pant and as planned planted false story of drowning of the deceased while concealing the real facts from police. They also tried to destroy the evidence.

1.                  One Pant and Belt belongs to deceased Yash Nandal.
2.                  SIM Card of Deceased Yash Nandal.
3.                  3 mobile phones of accused persons.
PROFILE: -
1.                  Accused Shahrukh Ali is unmarried and a student of BA 1st year of Vinayak Mission University, Himachal Pradesh. His father is a property dealer and having one sister and one brother. He is school time friend of deceased Yash and Prince Dixit.
2.                  Accused Sachin Dabas is unmarried and student of BA 1st year of SOL, Delhi University. His father is a property dealer and having one brother.
Accused Deepak Sethi is unmarried and student of BA 1st year of SOL, Delhi University. His father is a salesman and having one brother.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
