A Proclaimed Offender & Desperate Criminal Amit @ Vicky Arrested

Crime Branch has arrested a desperate criminal namely Amit @ Vicky (30 yrs) s/o Gyanender r/o 4-7/1, Pana Udyan, Narela, Delhi who was wanted in a sensational murder case of PS Narela. In this incident, one of their associate Praveen died on the spot during scuffle while attempting to kidnap a businessman for ransom. Accused Amit was evading his arrest and was declared Proclaimed Offender by the Rohini Court on 3.12.14. 
          On 17.06.14, one Ramesh Chand Garg r/o Shivaji Nagar, Narela reported to PS Narela that he is running a hardware shop at Lampur Road, Narela. At about 6.10 am, one Maruti Ecco car stopped near his shop and two persons came out from the car having pistols on their hands, tried to abduct him on gun point. Complainant tried to escape and during scuffle, abductors and their other associates fired upon him luckily the complainant survived while one bullet hit one of the criminal who died on the spot and was later identified as Praveen. On this, remaining accused persons escaped from the spot. A case vide FIR No. 775/14 u/s 302/307/365/120B/34 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act PS Narela has been registered in this regard.  
 On 23.07.15, secret information was received that accused Amit @ Vicky would come near Mukarba Chowk, Delhi to meet someone. Accordingly, a team of Northern Range led by DCP Dinesh Kumar Gupta, consisting of ACP Ram Mehar Singh, Inspr. Ravinder Verma, SIs Narender, Amit Dahiya, ASI Roshan, HCs Rishi Ram, Harvinder, Mahesh, Cts. Sonu, Sanjeev and Vinay was constituted under the overall supervision of Addl.CP Alok Kumar to nab him. A trap was laid at Mukarba Chowk and the accused Amit was apprehended.

During sustained interrogation, it was revealed that accused Amit alongwith his five associates namely Praveen, Arun, Vijay, Raja and Praveen hatched a conspiracy to abduct Ramesh Garg for ransom of Rs. 50 lac. Accordingly, as per their plan, they assembled on the fateful day and reached at the spot i.e. shop of Ramesh Garg in a Maruti Ecco car bearing registration No.DL-8CR-6722 brought by Amit. Praveen and Vijay were having pistols, got down from the car and tried to abduct Ramesh Garg on gun point, who tried to escape and during scuffle, they fired upon him but one bullet hit on Praveen and he died on the spot. Vijay and his other associates escaped from the spot. Later on, 3 accused persons were arrested by the local police and accused Amit deliberately evaded his arrest till date and hiding in Delhi and NCR.

Accused Amit @ Vicky (30 yrs) s/o Gyanender r/o 4-7/1, Pana Udyan, Narela, Delhi is unmarried and has studied upto 10th standard. He is having one brother and one sister. He was earlier working as a driver in a private company on contract basis and later joined the criminal gang to make quick money.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. Crime Branch has arrested two dreaded and desperate criminals namely (1) Gyanender @ Gadgu (29 yrs) s/o Mahender r/o Village Mandhothi, Distt. Jhajjar, Haryana, who is wanted in two sensational cases of murder of Haryana including one that of a brutal massacre, one case of attempt to murder of Badli, Delhi and 3 cases of extortion in Delhi & Haryana and (2) Rajeev Dahiya @ Raju (39 yrs) s/o Sukhbir Singh r/o R-95, Gali No. 15 A, Sawtanter Nagar, Narela, Delhi (permanent address-Village Nahari, Distt. Sonepat, Haryana), who is an absent BC of PS Narela, a bail jumper, a declared proclaimed offender in 2 murder cases and one case of Arms Act .
