Juvenile Apprehended for Assault and Murder of a Gardener at Abandoned Farm House in Fatehpur Beri
With the apprehension of a juvenile male, a team of PS
Fatehpur Beri, South District solved a case of murder and assault and recovered
robbed mobile phone of inured.
On 20/07/15, a PCR call was received at PS Fatehpur
Beri that one person was lying injured in a farm house near Dera More. Inspr. Suresh Chand, SHO/Fatehpur Beri along
with staff immediately reached the spot i.e. Farm House No. 305, Bhati Road,
Fatehpur Beri, New Delhi and found that a person, aged around 45-50 years was lying
dead in the farm house in pool of blood, having head injuries who was later
identified as Panga Ram. Another person had
sustained serious injuries who was identified as Ram Kumar. Both were
immediately rushed to AIIMS Trauma Center for treatment. The doctors declared Panga Ram as brought
dead. In this regard, a case vide FIR
No. 505/15 dated 21/07/15 u/s 302 IPC PS Fatehpur Beri was registered and
investigation was taken up.
During investigation, it was found that deceased Panga
Ram, a rag picker used to stay in the said abandoned farm house with Ram
Kumar. During local enquiry, it came to notice that Panga Ram, a vagabond
was living alone and nobody knows about his family back ground and whereabouts.
Injured Ram Kumar stated that in the intervening night of 20/21-07-15, he along
with Panga Ram was present in the farm house and one boy (name withheld being
JCL) who used to visit them and works in a nearby beverage godown came and
demanded money. When they refused, he started abusing them which led to a
scuffle. During scuffle, the boy picked up one empty beer bottle lying nearby
and assaulted Panga Ram on his head repeatedly, who fell down. The juvenile
also attacked Ram Kumar with beer bottle, injured him and chased. The boy
snatched mobile phone of Ram Kumar and ran away from spot.
In order to apprehend the boy, a team consisting of Inspr.
Ajai Pratap Singh, Inspr. (Inv.), SI Vikas Rana, HC Ramesh Kumar and HC
Youdhbir under the supervision of Inspr. Suresh Chand, SHO/Fatehpur Beri, all
in plain clothes, was formed. The team worked hard and gathered intelligence from
their resources to get any clue about absconding boy. Raids were conducted to apprehend the boy at all
possible hideouts in South, North and East Delhi. Finally, rigorous efforts of
police team yielded results and boy was apprehended on 23.7.15. On
search, mobile phone of complainant Ram Kumar was recovered from his
possession.
