Kidnapped Girl Traced within 24 Hours by Effective Use of Social Media App ie “WHAT’S APP MAGIC”

Kidnapped girl age- two years traced from J. J. Colony, Madipur, Delhi within 24 hours, kidnapped from P.S. Anand Parbat, Central District, Delhi.

On 15/07/2015, a PCR Call regarding missing of a two year old minor girl was received in P.S. Anand Parbat . Sh. Manoj S/o Shri Narayan Singh, the father of the girl , reported about kidnapping of his daughter allegedly by some unknown person while she was playing near her house. Accordingly, a case FIR No. 479/15 U/S 363 IPC was registered.

Sensing the gravity of offence, SHO/Anand Parbat immediately rushed to the spot with maximum staff and conveyed the information to the senior officers. Under the guidance of  Sh. Sagar Singh Kalsi, Addl DCP and under close supervision of Sh. Jitendra Kumar, ACP/Patel Nagar, various police teams were constituted including those of  local police of Patel Nagar Sub - Division, AATS and special staff of the district. The information was uploaded on ZIPNET and message flashed on all NETs of Police Stations Central District and other Districts/Units to trace the victim. Information/Photographs were shared with social media WHAT'S APP. Teams were also dispatched to almost all railway stations and inter state bus terminals in Delhi including Sarai Rohilla, New Delhi Railway Station, Old Delhi Railway Station, Anand Vihar Railway Stations and ISBT Kashmere Gate etc. Maximum personnel were mobilized and a combing operation covering an area of several sq kms was carried out. All CCTVs Footage of the area were manually searched and checked to find out any headway. Finally, after putting in huge efforts, the police teams were able to trace the kidnapped girl from Madipur area after  following the trail route.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
