Robbery Case Solved Within Four Hours : Five Nabbed Including One Juvenile : Robbed Booty of Rs. 4 Lacs Recovered

With the arrest of (1) Monu aged 20 years s/o Raju r/o C-958, Gali No.4, Sangam Vihar, Delhi; (2) Ankur aged 21 years s/o Madan Lal r/o C-948, Gali No.4, Sangam Vihar, Delhi; (3) Chikku @ Vijay Raghav aged 23 years s/o Kishan Pal r/o F-3/38, Sangam Vihar, Delhi; (4) Anil aged 22 years s/o Bharama Nand Singh r/o F-3/497, Sangam Vihar, Delhi and apprehending of one juvenile, the staff of PS C.R. Park, South-East District has solved a robbery case within four hours of the incident and has recovered the robbed booty of Rs. 4 lacs from their possession.

        On 06/07/15 at about 2.30 PM, complainant Nem Chand r/o Sangam Vihar, Delhi along with his friend Chikku went to Bank of India, Govind Puri Branch on a motorcycle for withdrawal of money.  After withdrawing Rs. 4 lacs, the complainant was going back to his house on the motorcycle which was being driven by Chikku. When they reached near Jahapana Club, three boys riding on a White Scooty came from behind and hit on their motorcycle due to which they fell down on the road.  Two boys get down from the Scooty and started beating the complainant. They robbed his bag containing Rs. 4 lacs and fled away from the spot with the robbed money on the Scooty while the third boy ran on foot towards Alaknanda. The complainant raised alarm. Meanwhile, HC Surander of PS C.R. Park who was present in the area, chased him and managed to apprehend him. He was identified as Monu r/o Sangam Vihar, Delhi. Subsequently, a case vide FIR No.236/15 dated 06/07/15 u/s 394/34 IPC was registered at P.S. C.R.Park and investigation was taken-up.

          A team consisting of SI Birander Singh, Ct Bobby, Ct Ashif, Ct Jaiveer, Ct Adesh Tayagi, Ct Parveen under the supervision of Inspr. Govind Chauhan, SHO/C.R.Park was formed to apprehend the remaining persons and to recover the robbed booty. After persistent efforts of the police team and at the instance of accused Monu, another accused Ankur r/o Sangam Vihar was arrested and one juvenile was also apprehended. During interrogation, the accused confessed their involvement in the above crime. The Scooty involved in the crime and robbed booty Rs. 4 lacs were recovered from their possession. During interrogation, it was also revealed that before this incident, a conspiracy was hatched in which complainant’s cousin Anil and complainant’s friend Vijay Raghav @ Chikku were also involved. On the day of incident, Vijay Raghav @ Chikku was driving the complainant’s motorcycle and passing their locations to the accused persons. On the basis of their disclosure, both Anil and Vijay Raghav @ Chikku have been arrested.
