Alert Police Picket Staff Arrested Dreaded Criminal

·        ONE 9MM COUNTRY-MADE-PISTOL AND ONE DESI KATTA-315 BORE WITH 8 LIVE CARTRIDGES RECOVERED.

·        FOUR MOTORBIKES RECOVERED.

·        Had hatched a plan  to commit murder.

        The staff of Police Station Mayapuri/West District has arrested dreaded criminal Vikas Kumar @ Vicky during the picket checking and has recovered ONE 9MM COUNTRY-MADE-PISTOL AND ONE DESI KATTA-315 BORE along-with 8 live cartridges. Further, at his instance four stolen motorcycles recovered.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED 

          Vikas Kumar @ Vicky s/o Ved Singh R/o 7/22, Ground Floor, West Patel Nagar, New Delhi, age 23 years, is a permanent resident of Village – Talda Satti, PS – Jansath, Muzzaffar Nagar, (UP). A college dropout.

RECOVERY MADE

1.    One Country made pistol alongwith 5 live cartridges

2.    One Deshi Katta alongwith 3 live cartidges.

3.    One Bajaj Pulsar No. HR 14F 9640,

4.    One Bajaj Pulsar No. DL 9SV 6987.

5.    One Hero Honda Motor Cycle No. DL 13SM 1461.

6.    One Bajaj Pulsar No. PB-05-U-7421.

          On 16.07.2015, Ct. Sandeep No. 1300/W and Ct. Praveen No. 1270/W were performing picket duty at Mayapuri Chowk and during the checking at about 3.30 PM, they intercepted one Motor Cycle bearing No.  HR 14F 9640 for checking. Unexpectedly, the pillion rider fled from the spot. On making enquiries from the ZIP Net, the above Motor Cycle was found to be stolen vide E-FIR No. 004186/15, PS Mayapuri. One Desi Katta 315 Bore, along with 3 live cartridges and one 9mm country made pistol along with 5 live cartridges were recovered from his persona.

           Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 360/15, u/s 25 Arms Act. & 411 IPC was registered at PS Mayapuri. On sustained interrogation conducted by a team led by Inspr. Suraj Bhan-SHO/Maya Puri, consisting of SI Pankaj Kumar Thakur and Const. Sachin, under the close supervision of Sh. Samay Singh-ACP/Tilak Nagar, -the arrested accused disclosed that he along with  his associate Dharamraj @ Sachin had hatched a plan  to commit murder of a person who is witness in a murder case committed in Haryana. During further inquiry from that person (witness) it is revealed that accused Dharamraj @ Sachin alongwith his associates Mohit and Sandeep had murdered his son in the year 2014. He also added that he is a witness in that case and accused Dharamraj @ Sachin is evading his arrest since the date of murder.

  

          On sustained interrogation, accused Vikas @ Vicky disclosed that he met Dharamraj @ Sachin about 4-5 months ago through a common friend Aashu resident of Muzzaffar Nagar U.P. and they started living together in a rented accommodation in Patel Nagar locality of Delhi. The accused has further disclosed that Aashu used to give money on interest and he along-with Dharamraj @ Sachin used to recover/extort money when any person refused to return. He also disclosed that he and Sachin had also committed several incidents of MV Theft and used the Motor Cycles in commission of crime. At his instance, three more stolen motorcycles were recovered.
