ONE NOTORIOUS AUTO-LIFTER ARRESTED

Crime Branch has arrested one notorious auto lifter namely Shahbuddin (30 yrs) s/o Firasat
Husain r/o Naya Gaon Mau, Harthala, Moradabad, UP and recovered 5 stolen vehicles with tempered engine and chassis numbers.
            On 15.05.2015, Akhil Kumar Agarwal s/o Lt. Purusottam Saran Agarwal r/o 11255/35, Gali No.2, Doriwalan, Karol Bagh, Delhi, reported at e-Police Station, Crime Branch, Delhi that someone has stolen his Ertiga Car No. DL 4CAS 8390 from New Rohtak Road, Opposite Braham Kumaris Ashram. A case was registered at e-Police Station, Crime Branch, Delhi and transferred to Central Range/Crime Branch, Kotwali, Delhi.
            Secret sources were deployed and regular watch was maintained over the auto lifters of Delhi & NCR. On 20.05.15, a secret information was received by HC Deepak Tyagi of Central Range that members of an auto-lifters gang would come near Kali Ghata Masjid, Ansari Road, Daryaganj, Delhi to sell stolen vehicles. Accordingly, a team led by ACP Ravinder Kumar Tyagi and consisting of Inspr. Devender Kumar, SIs Virender Singh, Devender Singh, ASI Jaswinder Singh, HCs Deepak, Mehak, Mohan, Naresh, Vikram, Virender, Cts Deepak, Ajay, Harender, Lalit, Manish, Vipin and W/Const. Sarvjeet Kaur was constituted under the supervision of DCP M.A. Rizvi and raid was conducted and one person namely Shahbuddin was arrested.
    
        A Fortuner SUV No. HR 26 BY 2797 (original number HR 26 CK 4660) reportedly stolen vide FIR No.38 dated 31.01.15 u/s 379 IPC PS Sector- 40, Gurgaon was recovered from his possession. Whereas, another auto-lifter Kamal r/o Amritsar managed to flee from the spot. During search of the Fortuner SUV many other articles used to commit theft i.e. ECM, master Keys, Drill machine etc. were recovered.
            During interrogation, he disclosed that he alongwith his associates Kamal, Mehboob and Anish committed theft of about 70-80 vehicles of different makes i.e. Fortuner, Innova, Bolero, I-20, Swift, Chevrolet, Vento and Honda City etc. in Delhi, NCR, Haryana and Punjab. They used to sell these vehicles to Arif Gola, Asif and Naseem Kamal all r/o Sitapur, UP and Raja r/o Moga, Punjab. These persons used to procure documents i.e. RC and Insurance Papers from Insurance/Finance companies of 100% damaged vehicles and after tempering Engine/Chassis numbers of the stolen vehicles, were sold to people. Besides this, Arif, Asif and Nasir Kamal used to ply these vehicles on hire basis in Sitapur, UP.
            He further disclosed that he can get above said Ertiga Car No. DL 4 CAS 8390 recovered from the hide outs of Arif, Asif and Naseem Kamal in Sitapur, UP, where he had left the vehicle for tampering. He also disclosed that he can also get other stolen vehicles recovered stolen from UP, Delhi, Haryana and Punjab.

After interrogation and making enquiry from concerned Police Stations the following cases has been worked out: -
1.                  FIR No.1860/15 u/s 379 IPC PS- E-Police Station, (PS D.B.G. Road) Delhi.
2.                  FIR No.1642/15 u/s 379 IPC PS- E-police Station, Crime Branch, Delhi.
3.                  FIR No.38/15 u/s 379 IPC PS- Sec.-40, Gurgaon, Haryana.
            However, efforts are on foot to solve more cases as confessed, recovered ECMs and incidents by the accused persons.

PROFILE: -

            Shahbuddin (30 yrs) s/o Firasat Husain r/o Naya Gaon Mau, Harthala, Moradabad, UP has studied upto 5th Standard. He has 2 sisters & 4 brothers. His father used to run a steel utensils polish factory at Moradabad. He came in contact with Kamal, Mehboob and Anish and committed theft of around 70 to 80 vehicles.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. Crime Branch has arrested two dreaded and desperate criminals namely (1) Gyanender @ Gadgu (29 yrs) s/o Mahender r/o Village Mandhothi, Distt. Jhajjar, Haryana, who is wanted in two sensational cases of murder of Haryana including one that of a brutal massacre, one case of attempt to murder of Badli, Delhi and 3 cases of extortion in Delhi & Haryana and (2) Rajeev Dahiya @ Raju (39 yrs) s/o Sukhbir Singh r/o R-95, Gali No. 15 A, Sawtanter Nagar, Narela, Delhi (permanent address-Village Nahari, Distt.
