Desperate Robber Bharat Puri Arrested

Crime Branch has arrested one notorious criminal namely Bharat Puri (Age-25 Yrs) s/o Vijay Puri R/o 123-B, Nangli Vihar, Part-I, Najafgarh, Delhi and worked out four cases of robbery of PS Dwarka North. He is previously involved in 6 criminal cases including that of robbery, Arms Act etc.

        Information was received that one Bharat Puri r/o Nangli Vihar, Najafgarh who is involved in many cases of robbery of PS Dwarka North would come at Shiv Mandir, Mansa Ram Park, Bindapur, Delhi. On this information a team led by DCP Bhisham Singh and consisting of ACP KPS Malhotra, Insp. P C Yadav, SI Sandeep Yadav, HCs Dinesh Kumar, Bijender Kumar, Dinesh, Santraj, Narender, Cts Omparkash, Sandeep, Bijender, Naresh & Ravi was constituted under the supervision of Addl.CP Ashok Chand to nab him. On the basis of information a trap was laid at Shiv Mandir, Mansa Ram Park, Bindapur and the accused Bharat Puri was apprehended.

        On interrogation, it was revealed that accused Bharat Puri is a class 5th drop out and unmarried. He had earlier worked as a Gramin Sewa vehicle driver and later indulged in extortion from Gramin Sewa vehicles and TSRs for entry in Uttam Nagar and Nawada area, alongwith his associates. Those who would refuse to pay were attacked with knife and robbed off their cash and valuables at gun point. Several such cases have been reported in Dwarka and Uttam Nagar area. The accused had created terror amongst Gramin Sewa Vehicles/Auto drivers.

He is previously involved in 6 criminal cases including that of robbery, Arms Act etc. and the following cases of robbery of PS Dwarka North have been worked out with his arrest:

1.   FIR No. 76/15 u/s 427/392/34 IPC, PS Dwarka North, Delhi.
2.   FIR No. 217/15 u/s 392/34 IPC, PS Dwarka North, Delhi.
3.   FIR No. 274/15 u/s 394/34 IPC, PS Dwarka North, Delhi.
4.   FIR No. 923/15 u/s 392/34 IPC, PS Dwarka North, Delhi.

        Accused Bharat Puri has been arrested under appropriate sections of law and concerned police station has been informed. Efforts are being made to apprehend his associates.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi. Crime Branch has arrested two dreaded and desperate criminals namely (1) Gyanender @ Gadgu (29 yrs) s/o Mahender r/o Village Mandhothi, Distt. Jhajjar, Haryana, who is wanted in two sensational cases of murder of Haryana including one that of a brutal massacre, one case of attempt to murder of Badli, Delhi and 3 cases of extortion in Delhi & Haryana and (2) Rajeev Dahiya @ Raju (39 yrs) s/o Sukhbir Singh r/o R-95, Gali No. 15 A, Sawtanter Nagar, Narela, Delhi (permanent address-Village Nahari, Distt. Sonepat, Haryana), who is an absent BC of PS Narela, a bail jumper, a declared proclaimed offender in 2 murder cases and one case of Arms Act .
