Desperate Criminal Ajay Kumar @ Chhotu Arrested

Crime Branch has arrested a desperate criminal and absent Bad Character of South district namely Ajay Kumar @ Chhotu (40 yrs) s/o Chanderpal Singh r/o Aya Nagar, New Delhi. He was wanted in 3 cases including murder, attempt to murder and abduction of South Delhi.

        On 20.11.2014, a motorcyclist was assaulted and shot at by a group of youths lead by Ajay Kumar @ Chhotu to kill him. However, the bullet missed the target. A case vide FIR No.1064/14 u/s 307/34 IPC r/w 25/27 Arms Act, PS Neb Sarai was registered in this regard.
        On 22.11.2014, a shootout took place between two gangs to gain control over illegal satta, drug trafficking, etc. in the area resulting in death of Rohit and injuries to other criminals namely Sanju, Anuj, Neeraj, Deepak and Ramakant @ Raju. The gang led by Ajay Kumar @ Chhotu and consisting Deepak Pandit, Bindu, Mukesh, Kapil, etc. was instrumental in the assault. A case vide FIR No.1075/14 u/s 302/307/34 IPC, 25/27 Arms Act, PS Neb Sarai was registered in this regard.
        On 5.4.2015, the ongoing conflict led to another incident in which Ajay Kumar @ Chhotu alongwith his associates Sunil, Ravi, Rocky, Sonu, Nitin, Sunil, etc abducted and murdered Anku and Sumit of rival gang. A case vide FIR No.205/15 u/s 302/364/34 IPC, 25/27 Arms Act, PS Sangam Vihar was registered in this regard.
        Some of the criminals were arrested by the local police but the gang leader Ajay Kumar @ Chhotu had been hiding and frequently changing his hideouts & mobile phones to evade arrest.

        A team led by DCP Bhisham Singh and consisting of ACP KPS Malhotra, Insp. Kulbir Singh, SI Kuldeep, ASI Manoj, HC Satish, Cts Shelender, Devender Tomar, Devender, Vivek, Sachin, Gyanender, Ravi, Jitender and Arjun under the overall supervision of Addl.CP Ashok Chand was constituted to nab him and to check his activities in  the area.
        On 01.05.2015, a secret information was received that Ajay Kumar @ Chhotu, who is wanted in the above mentioned cases would come to Satayam Complex, Nehru Place. Accordingly, a trap was laid by the team at the given time and he was apprehended.

        Ajay Kumar @ Chhotu (40 yrs) studied upto 8th class. He is married and has 2 daughters. During interrogation, it was revealed that earlier he used to work with his father in running his refrigeration and weld business. After marriage, he separated from the family and fell into the bad company. Initially, he used to accompany pickpockets and soon started committing robberies and dacoities. Subsequently, he was arrested in 2 murder cases and remained in jail for a few years till he was acquitted in his appeal by Hon’ble Delhi High Court. After that, he formed his own gang and has been calling the shots.
        He had been extorting money from the criminals/builders of the area. He was also indulged in gang war with the other dominant criminals to gain supremacy in the area.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi. Crime Branch has arrested two dreaded and desperate criminals namely (1) Gyanender @ Gadgu (29 yrs) s/o Mahender r/o Village Mandhothi, Distt. Jhajjar, Haryana, who is wanted in two sensational cases of murder of Haryana including one that of a brutal massacre, one case of attempt to murder of Badli, Delhi and 3 cases of extortion in Delhi & Haryana and (2) Rajeev Dahiya @ Raju (39 yrs) s/o Sukhbir Singh r/o R-95, Gali No. 15 A, Sawtanter Nagar, Narela, Delhi (permanent address-Village Nahari, Distt.
