NOTORIOUS CRIMINAL APPREHENDED RED-HANDED WITH LOADED COUNTRY MADE PISTOL

In a daring effort by Staff of Police Station Mahindra Park, North West District has arrested a notorious criminal with a loaded country made pistol vide case FIR No.111/2016 dated 21.02.2016 U/S 25/54/59 Arms Act P.S. Mahindra Park, Delhi.
BRIEF FACTS
On 21.02.2016, a PCR Call regarding quarrel at J-Block, Jhangir Puri, Delhi was received in PS Mahindra Park vide DD No. 25-A.  It was marked to HC Rameshwar Rana No. 348/NW who immediately rushed to the spot with Ct. Ajeet No.2760/NW.  As soon as the police party reached the place of occurrence, one person was seen running from the spot after seeing the Police.  Sensing something fishy, he was apprehended by the police party after a hot chase.  He was thoroughly searched.  During his personal search, one loaded country made pistol was recovered from his possession.  The accused identified as Vinod@Panchi S/o Lt. Sh. Roshan Lal R/o I-902, Jahangir Puri, Delhi, was arrested.  He is a BC of PS Mahendra Park and had been previously involved in 24 criminal cases.  A case vide FIR No.111/2016 dated 21.02.16 U/S 25/54/59 Arms Act, PS Mahendra Park has been registered.
Profile of accused
Accused Vinod@Panchi S/o Lt. Sh. Roshan Lal R/o I-902, Jahangir Puri, Delhi started his criminal activity in the 1990s and he was first arrested in a murder case vide FIR No.267/93 u/s 302/34 IPC PS Jahangir Puri.  Thereafter he is continuously committing crime.  He is involved in 24 criminal cases as under :-

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
