Gang of Cheaters Arrested

With the arrest of three desperate cheaters, Police of Police Station Jagatpuri has solved a case of cheating. The arrested cheaters are :

1.   Anand Ram @ S.N. Mishty S/o Nari Ram R/o 410B, 2^nd Floor, Gali No.5, Govindpuri, Delhi, Permanent Address – Vill – Agar Manral, P.S. Chaukutiya, District, Almoda, Uttarakhand,  

2.   Pushkar Ram S/o Madan Ram R/o 410B, 2^nd Floor, Gali No.5, Govindpuri, Delhi, Permanent address - Vill – Agar Manral, P.S. Chaukutiya, District, Almoda, Uttarakhand,.

3.   Vijay Chabra S/o Manoj Chabra R/o 891, Ground Floor, Sector 7, Pushp Vihar, Sekh Sarai

INCIDENT

 Complainant Shri Kulvinder Singh stated that he had taken three policies from the Reliance insurance company. He was asked to pay the premium in cash for good returns and full benefits against the policy. He paid 15-16 lacs as premium for the policies which were obtained by the accused persons through courier boy and the accused persons were still calling the complainant alluring him for investing more. Later it was revealed that has he been cheated of Rs 15-16 lacs and no premium was deposited by the accused person against the policies.  In this regard, a case vide FIR No. 36, dated 01.02.16 u/s 420/34 IPC, P.S. Jagatpuri was registered.

INVETIGATION AND TEAM

In the supervision of Shri Sanjeev Gupta, ACP/Preet Vihar, a team in the leadership of Insp. Satish Dahiya (SHO/Jagatpuri comprises of S.I. Om Prakash, S.I. Praveen Chauhan, Ct. Subhash No. 2201/E was constituted. During the course of investigation as the complainant was asked by the accused person to deliver Rs. 10,000/- to a courier boy at Preet Vihar Metro Station. On this the police team along with the complainant reached Preet Vihar Metro Station where the said courier boy was found. On enquiry the courier boy he has been asked to pick the packet and to deliver the same as per the intimation on phone call. Later the courier boy has informed by the accused person to deliver the packet near Jasola Appolo Metro Station. Where the courier boy was telephonically informed to deliver the packet to the person standing near Gate No.2. The Police team has been secretly deployed near Gate No. 2 and as soon as one of the accused person has received the packet from courier boy he was apprehended and interrogated and on the basis of his confessional statement other Gang Members have also been arrested.

INTERROGATION

During the interrogation the accused persons namely 1. Anand Ram @ S.N. Mishty S/o Nari Ram R/o 410B, 2^nd Floor, Gali No.5, Govindpuri, Delhi, 2. Pushkar Ram S/o Madan Ram R/o 410B, 2^nd Floor, Gali No.5, Govindpuri, Delhi, 3. Vijay Chabra S/o Manoj Chabra R/o 891, Ground Floor, Sector 7, Pushp Vihar, Sekh Sarai, Delhi, have informed the police that earlier they were employed in different insurance related company where they were used to sell and contact the customers of Reliance Insurance Company and hence they have approach to the customer’s Data of Reliance Insurance Company. Later all the three had opened their own Insurance related company with the name and title of OSR Solution (Om Sai Ram Solutions) at Madangir, Delhi and started calling the customers with fake mobile numbers with fake identity using fake names and designation, inducing them to invest or purchase the insurance policy and they took the premium amount but they do not deposit the same and used to utilize the same for their own. The accused Mishty used to play the role of Income Tax Officer and induces the customers to provide rebate in taxes and other services and allure the customers to provide him money and by this way they have cheated lots of persons.

RECOVERY

Eleven mobile phones with SIM Cards obtained with the help of fake IDs have been recovered from the possession/Instance of accused persons and many fake documents including IDs, Cheque book and other documents have been recovered. Interrogation of the accused persons is still being carried.

3.   Vijay Chabra S/o Manoj Chabra R/o 891, Ground Floor, Sector 7, Pushp Vihar, Sekh Sarai, Delhi Education – 12^th, Occupation – selling of insurance policies.
