        Team of Special Staff/West District has arrested the following two Robbers/snatchers. From their possession, 02 mobile phones were recovered (one from each).
PROFILE
·         Sanjay @ Barood s/o Birmanand r/o H. No. 665 LIG flats Pocket 3 Paschim Puri Madipur, Delhi. Age 38 Yrs. He is a BC of PS  Punjabi Bagh. He studied up to 8th standard. He was wanted and absconding in FIR No1258/15 u/s 457/380 IPC PS Punjabi Bagh & FIR No 180/16 u/s 324 IPC PS Punjabi Bagh. Previous Involvement: 02 (murder & robbery).

·         Amit s/o Pradeep r/o H No 52 MCD flats Sec 4 Rohini Delhi Delhi. Age 25 Yrs. He is Absent BC of PS  Vijay Vihar. He studied up to 8th std. He fell in bad company. He committed crime of robbery and snatching and was under constant surveillance of Police. To avoid it, he kept on shifting his residence from one place to another and was absent BC for last more than one year.  Previous Involvement 19 (Snatching & Robbery)

    DETAILS OF TEAM
           On the basis of secret information of SI Virender Tyagi, a team of Special Staff comprising of SI Virender Tyagi, SI Charan Singh, ASI Ishwar Singh, HC Ajay, HC Vinod, HC Mukesh, Ct Sanjay, Ct Rajender, Ct Rashid Khan & Ct Satnarayan headed by Inspr. Surender Singh Rathee, in the supervision of Sh. Dinesh Kumar- ACP Operation Cell West District, apprehended the above accused from Paschim Puri Delhi when they were coming on a Black Pulsar Motor Cycle No. DL 3S BG 4832 which was found to be stolen from the area of PS Rajouri Garden.

 INTERROGATION
                  Amit s/o Pradeep is BC of PS Vijay Vihar. He has been arrested in 19 cases. Just to avoid police surveillance, he used to hide himself in Paschim puri Madi pur and his native village in Jhajar Haryana. He came in contact of Sanjay @ Barood. Sanjay @ Barood is previous involved in murder and theft cases. Both formed a gang and started extorting money. They added that they used to commit snatching and theft for making easy money.
                    Further investigation is on. The staff who have done the above good work are being suitably rewarded.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi. Crime Branch has arrested two dreaded and desperate criminals namely (1) Gyanender @ Gadgu (29 yrs) s/o Mahender r/o Village Mandhothi, Distt.
