The North West District has worked out three cases of robberies
committed in the area of PSs Mahendra Park
& Subhash Place. The case FIR
No.167/2016 Dated 16.03.2016 U/S 392/397/411 IPC & 25/54/59 Arms Act, P.S.
Mahendra Park and FIR Nos.239 & 240 u/s 394/34 IPC of PS Subhash Place have
been worked out. 03 accused in different
cases (three) have been arrested with the stolen property alongwith the weapon
used in the commission of offence have been recovered.
Incidents
PS MAHENDRA
PARK : 1 ACCUSED ARRESTED, 1 GOLD CHAIN & KNIFE RECOVERED
In
the first incident, Smt Baijanti Mala w/o Shalender Sharma R/o Sant Nagar,
Burari stated that on 16.03.2016 while she was on the Main A-Block Road,
Jahangir Puri, near A-1 Market Pulia, one boy came from behind. He was holding an open knife in his hand and
robbed her off her gold chain at the point of the knife and fled towards the
main road. The complainant stated that
she raised an alarm. The alarm/call for
help by the complainant alerted the police party patrolling in the vicinity. The police personnel immediately swung into
action and apprehended the robber after a hot chase of about 50 meters. The robber was over powered by the police
personnel. The robbed gold chain was
recovered from the mouth of the robber while he was trying to swallow it. The buttondaar knife was also recovered from
the possession of the robber. The robber
was identified as Mouniddeen S/o Salim r/o H. No.C-595, Jahangir Puri,
Delhi. He is previously involved in 05
other offences. A case vide FIR No.167/2016
dated 16.03.2016 U/S 392/397/411 IPC & 25/54/59 Arms Act, PS Mahendra Park
was accordingly registered. The police
team consisting of SI Dalbir Singh No. D3839, HC Rajender, No.412/NW, HC
Rameshwar Rana No. 348/NW & Ct.
Kuldeep No. 2350/NW will be suitably rewarded.

1. Accused Mouniddin S/o Salim R/o
H. No. C-595, Jahangir Puri, Delhi, arrested in FIR No.167/2016 dated
16.03.2016 U/S 392/397/411 IPC & 25/54/59 Arms Act of PS Mahendra Park,
started his criminal activities from the year 2007 and was arrested for the
first time in FIR No.720/2007 u/s 392/34 IPC PS Jahangir Puri. He is regularly committing crime thereafter
and at present is involve in 05 cases of various crime like body offence,
property offence, etc. as under :-

SUBHASH PLACE: 2 ACCUSED ARRESTED, 2 MOBILE PHONES & CASH RECOVERED
In
PS Subhash Place two separate incidents of robbery were reported during the
intervening night of 15/16.03.2016.
In one incident Shri Suraj Singh S/o Sh. Inder Singh reported
that while he was going towards his house in Shakur Pur after finishing of his
work at Netaji Subhash Place, he was stopped by two young boys near the Mother
Dairy Booth of I Block Shakur Pur JJ Colony.
The boys hit his head with stones.
The duo after hitting the complainant robbed his mobile phone and cash
Rs.200/-. After committing the robbery,
both the accused persons fled and robbed another pedestrian Sh. Mahesh Singh
S/o Sh. Maharaj Singh near K Block Shakur Pur JJ Colony in the similar
fashion. Cases vide FIR Nos.239 &
240/2016 u/s 394/34 IPC PS Subhash Place were registered on the statement of
complainant Suraj Singh and Mahesh Singh
respectively. and was taken up for
investigation.
The
staff deployed on ERV stationed near Netaji Subhash Place was alerted
immediately on receipt of the call of robbery. The team started patrolling in the area. At about 3.30 AM, when the ERV reached near K
Block Shakur Pur JJ Colony, Delhi and were conducting checks in the area, they
heard the call for help by one Mahesh Singh who was robbed by some unknown
assailants. The police party spotted two
persons moving swiftly in suspicious condition.
The police party tried to stop them but they tried to flee from the
spot. This made the ERV staff even more
suspicious. The complainant Mahesh
confirmed that these two were fleeing after robbing him. The staff of ERV swung into action. Ct. Mahesh, No.2427/NW who was patrolling the
area also joined them. The police party
apprehended both the accused persons after a long and hot chase. The accused were identified as Rakesh Singh
S/o Sh. Raj Kumar Singh R/o H. No. K-40, Shakur Pur JJ Colony, Delhi and Rajesh
S/o Sh. Lal Bahadur R/o K-282, Shakur Pur JJ Colony, Delhi. The entire looted property i.e. purse
containing Rs.1460/-, diary and a mobile phone which was looted from
complainant Mahesh Singh was recovered from their possession. Another mobile
phone which was looted by the accused persons half an hour earlier from another
complainant Suraj Singh vide case FIR No. 239/2016 was also recovered from
their possession. The staff of ERV i.e.
HC Arjun No. 340/NW, Ct. SurajBhan No. 2301/NW & Ct. Mahesh No. 2427/NW
would be suitably rewarded.
Profile of
accused :-
1. Accused Rajesh (23 years) is
illiterate. During sustained
interrogation he disclosed that he is originally from Nepal and presently his
family is residing in a rented accommodation at Shakur PurPur JJ Colony Delhi.
His father is working as a labour in a textile/jeans factory. He came in contact with his associate accused
Rakesh Singh who is a alcoholic. He
along with Rakesh Singh commit robberies in the area but as they mainly
targeted poor people and the robberies that they commit involve small amount of
money, the same generally go unreported.
2. Accused Rakesh (23 years) is
illiterate. During sustained interrogation, accused Rakesh Singh disclosed that
he is originally from Bihar and is now residing with his family in a rented
house at Shakur PurPur JJ Colony Delhi. His father is working in a private
security agency. He came in contact with his associate accused Rajesh who is a
compulsive alcoholic. After consumption
of alcohol, their propensities to commit crimes are aggravated and they only
target people who are drunk.
