ALERT SPOUSE PUT ACTIVE SNATCHER BEHIND THE BARS

·     Accused used to snatch bags of alone pedestrian/ ladies on rickshaw.
 With the arrest of accused Sahil Gore, an alert spouse (complainant) helped the staff of P.S. Janak Puri/WEST DISTRICT to solve 8 cases of snatching committed in the jurisdiction of P.S. Janak Puri.

INCIDENT : On 01.03.16, the  complainant Mrs. (Usha-changed name) R/O Janak Puri reported that while she got down from East Metro Station and was on way to her home. One person came on a scooty and snatched her bag and fled away. She raised an alarm and in the meantime her husband came on his scooter and she along with her husband chased the accused. Accused entered in a street of Ganesh Nagar and that street has no exit. Resultantly, he could not manage to flee. The husband of the complainant caught the accused with his scooty and took the snatched bag. The accused was identified as

above.  Accordingly, case vide FIR No. 275/16 u/s 356/379/411 IPC PS. Janak Puri was registered.

TEAM AND INVESTIGATION :
Under the close supervision of ACP/Vikas Puri Mrs. Omwati Malik   and on the directions of Insp. R.S. Meena  SHO/ Janak Puri, a team comprising SI Laxman, ASI Ramesh, HC Bijender No. 734, HC Sanej No.463 and Ct. Devender No. 1487/W, was constituted and briefed about the significance and ramification of the case. During the sustained interrogation, he disclosed that he used to commit the snatching especially of ladies bag on his scooty.
           
                  He further added that on 29.02.16 he had snatched a bag from a lady. The snatched bag has also been recovered containing Rs. 5000/- cash, one pair of gold ear/nose rings, visiting card, keys and ID Card of complainant. Apart from these, he had committed 6 more snatchings all in the area of PS Janak Puri. 

RECOVERY:-  Two  bags:-(i) One bag containing cash of Rs. 5000/-, one pair of gold ear/nose rings, visiting card, keys and ID Card of complainant and (2) another bag containing Rs. 8000/- cash, official ID card, house keys,  one mobile and other documents.

PROFILE:
Sahil Gore S/O Mehar Gore R/O A-1/3,3rd floor, Janak Puri is 22 years old. He studied upto 8th class. He further could not continue his study because of poverty. He fell in bad company and become addicted to smack. Being unemployed and addiction to smack, he started snatching of ladies purse.
        Further investigation is underway. The spouse and the police staff involved in good work are being rewarded suitably.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
